Peter Facinelli and Rob Defranco sign at Midtown Comics on Wednesday November 20th at 7:30pm!
Midtown Comics in New York City is excited to welcome actor Peter Facinelli along with his producing partner Rob Defranco for a special book signing of their new comic book, Protocol: Orphans #1 from BOOM! Studios, on Wednesday, November 20th, at 7:30pm at the Midtown Comics Downtown location. Purchase of Protocol: Orphans #1 is required to attend the signing and one additional personal item may be signed.
Actor Peter Facinelli (Twilight Saga, Nurse Jackie) and producing partner Rob DeFranco (A7sle Films) are the creators of Protocol: Orphans. Written by Michael Alan Nelson (Day Men, Supergirl) and drawn by Mariano Navarro, Protocol: Orphans is an action-packed espionage series with a compelling cast of young characters struggling with their transition into adulthood. Adopted by the government. Trained as deadly spies. Abandoned by everybody but each other. Protocol: Orphans is a tense thriller perfect for fans of fun spy fiction like TV’s Alias or Mission: Impossible.
“I love a good espionage story,” says BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon. “Protocol: Orphans delivers; it’s a smart, stylish, and fast-paced thriller. If you miss shows like Alias, you’re in for a treat.”

Date: Saturday March 19, 2011 – 5:00pm
From Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke comes the romantic fantasy thriller Red Riding Hood. Torn between two men, the beautiful young Valerie is about to choose her heart’s desire when her sister is murdered by a werewolf. Panicked, the people call on famed werewolf hunter Father Solomon, who warns that the werewolf could be among them. As the death toll rises with each moon, Valerie begins to fear that the werewolf could be someone she loves. But her fear is tinged with curiosity when she discovers her unique connection to the beast—one that inexorably draws them together, making her both suspect… and bait.
Red Riding Hood stars Amanda Seyfried (Letters to Juliet, Mamma Mia!), Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight, the Harry Potter films), Billy Burke (the Twilight films), Shiloh Fernandez (Skateland, TV’s Jericho), Max Irons (Dorian Gray), Oscar®-nominee Virginia Madsen (Sideways), and two-time Oscar®-winner Julie Christie (Away from Her, Darling).
