TOP COW AT FLORIDA SUPERCON

LOS ANGELES, Calif., June 16, 2010 – Top Cow Productions, Inc. proudly announced today that they will be exhibiting at Florida Supercon in South Florida this weekend. Three three-day comic book, anime, animation, video game, fantasy and sci-fi convention will be open to the public on Friday, June 18 running through Sunday, June 20, 2010, at the Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Convention Center in Miami.

Fans who stop by the Top Cow booth will be among the first to get a glimpse and purchase Velocity #1 by Ron Marz (Witchblade, Artifacts) and Kenneth Rocafort (Cyberforce/Hunter-Killer, Madame Mirage). The story centers on the Carin Taylor, the fastest woman in the world. At least, she’d better be if she wants to save her own life and the lives of her Cyberforce teammates. When a former Cyberdata scientist – and test subject – seeks revenge against the members of Cyberforce, only Velocity can save her friends before the clock literally runs out. Velocity #1 will arrive in stores on Wednesday, June 30th.

The publisher will be offering two exclusive Florida Supercon variants for the event: a blank sketch Velocity #1 Past Present and Future Comics variant and a Rocafort line art Velocity #1 Tate’s Comics variant. The exclusives are both extremely limited and will be initially made available at Florida Supercon. Fans will also be able to pick up numerous free promotional items and free comics at the Top Cow booth. Publisher Filip Sablik will be available at 4:00-5:30pm on Saturday, June 19 and at 12:30-1:30pm on Sunday, June 20 for portfolio reviews for aspiring artists.

LOS ANGELES, Calif., April 12, 2010 – Top Cow Productions, Inc. is proud to announce the publisher has partnered up with Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs to launch the WITCHBLADE Fragrance line, with a portion of each purchase to be donated to Hero Initiative. The WITCHBLADE Fragrance line will debut at this month’s C2E2 convention in Chicago.

The WITCHBLADE Fragrance line features 5ml perfume oil blends based on the characters from Top Cow’s Witchblade series, including Witchblade (Antediluvian, sacred metal, glowing red musk, blessed frankincense, antiqued amber), Witchblade-bearer Sara Pezzini (Hint of leather and an understated vintage musk layered over the scent of lightly perspiring, honey-dusted skin), Detective Patrick Gleason (A classic men’s cologne splashed over a leather trench coat with a hint of gunshot residue) and the Curator (Mysterious herbs and ancient resins). Briggz4Kids is a foundation developed to provide emotional and financial support, by raising funds and awareness for at risk youth in the Chicago area. In addition to the great creator line up, the event will feature the annual “Sketches for HERO Initiative” fundraiser, where most of the artists featured will do $10 sketches for the fans, with 100% of the proceeds directly going to HERO Initiative, a wonderful charity that helps comic book creators in need.  Collector’s Paradise has been working with HERO for the last four years to make sure that those creators who need financial and medical help are taken care of.
 
Kids are a big focus of Collector’s Paradise’ effort on FCBD.  The event will feature an excellent Spider-Man in costume, a fantastic Balloon Artist, and several thousand kid-friendly comic books given away to all fans in attendance.

LOS ANGELES, Calif., March 25, 2010 – Top Cow Productions, Inc. proudly announced today that they will be joining Image Comics at WonderCon 2010.  The three-day event will open to the public on Friday afternoon, April 2nd and run through Sunday, April 4th, at the Moscone Center South.  Fans are encouraged to stop by the Image Comics booth (#407) to meet their favorite creators and shop for limited edition convention exclusives as well as their favorite Top Cow comics.

Among the creators appearing at the booth will be pencilers Michael Broussard (The Darkness, Artifacts), Nelson Blake II (Pilot Season: Murderer, Magdalena), Sheldon Mitchell (Pilot Season: Stealth, Witchblade Annual) and inker Rick Basaldua (Witchblade Annual).  Stop by the Image Comics (#407) booth for signing times.

LOS ANGELES, Calif., March 8, 2010 – Top Cow Productions, Inc. announced its plans today for this weekend’s Emerald City ComiCon, the Pacific Northwest’s premier comic book and pop culture convention.  This year’s Emerald City ComiCon will be held at the Washington State Convention Center on March 13-14, 2010.  Fans are encouraged to stop by the Top Cow booth (#304) to meet their favorite creators, pick up the Emerald City ComiCon convention variant as well as their favorite Top Cow comics.

Top Cow creators who will be exhibiting at Emerald City ComiCon include Ron Marz (Witchblade), Phil Hester (The Darkness), Michael Broussard (The Darkness), William Harms (Impaler), Eric Basaldua (Witchblade Annual) and Joshua Ortega (Necromancer).

This year, Emerald City ComiCon will have available four Top Cow exclusives: an ECCC 2010 limited edition wrap-around variant of Angelus #2 (by Marz and Stjepan Sejic), an ECCC 2010 limited edition variant cover of The Darkness #83 by Whilce Portacio (with interior story by Hester and Broussard), a limited edition Witchblade ECCC print by Broussard and Sunny Gho, and the official ECCC 2010 t-shirt featuring the art of Broussard.
