Dallas Comic Show Returns on September 16-17

The Dallas Comic Show returns to the Richardson Civic Center on September 16-17, 2017 for a fun weekend filled with awesome guests and panels. Free parking, affordable admission, a great alternative to big box events that are sometimes too hectic for fans. Dallas Comic Show is a family-friendly event in the DFW area featuring exciting comic book and media guests, costumed characters, gaming and Anime content.

Our mission is to bring back an affordable pop culture convention experience to the DFW area, something everyone can enjoy and embrace without breaking the bank. This is show run by fans and done for fans. We are here to make sure you have fun.

Comic book guests include: Joe Jusko, Daniel Way, Todd Nauck, Tim Bradstreet, Steve Niles, Angel Medina, James O’Barr, John Lucas, Josh Howard, and many more.

Media guests include: Kevin Nash, Lori Petty, Tom Sizemore, Susan Eisenberg, Kimmy Robertson, Harry Goaz, Kevin Grevioux, Erik Stolhanske, Dickey Beer, Jamie Marchi, and more.

All guest appearances are subject to work commitments. Guests appear both days of the show unless otherwise noted.  Scroll down to bios for info on media guest prices. In rare instances some guests may have to postpone their appearances due to work commitments, we always try to note if that’s occurred as soon as possible. Please note, Media Guests charge to sign your items or their merchandise, and most charge a fee for photos with them. Most comic book guests do not charge for autographs, but it’s always wise to ask first.

Animaniacs LIVE! is a musical revue starring original cast members Rob Paulsen (Yakko, and Pinky from “Pinky and the Brain”), accompanied by Emmy winning composer Randy Rogel, who wrote and created many of those memorable songs you STILL can’t remove from your brain pan.

Featuring 20 songs from the run of the show, songs like ‘Yakko’s World’ and ‘I’m Mad’ and set along cued up clips, Animaniacs LIVE! promises to help you relive the show’s 90’s glory. With over 2,000 half-hours of animation credits, Rob’s versatility shines in his starring roles as the voices of Donatello (Nickelodeon’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”), Yakko Warner, Pinky and Dr. Scratch ‘n’ Sniff in the Peabody and two-time Emmy award-winning series “Animaniacs”. Randy Rogel is a three time Emmy winner, who began as an original writer on Batman: The Animated Series, before joining the staff of Animaniacs writing most of the songs and many of the scripts. Animaniacs LIVE! is based on the beloved WB cartoon Animaniacs which delighted television audiences from 1992 to 1998. Cartoon clips will be shown alongside the talent. In addition to the concert, Rob and Randy share behind the scenes secrets about the making of the series. Plastic City Comic Con Returns on July 29th

Plastic City Comic Con holds their second annual event for comics, toys and pop culture fans in North Central Massachusetts on Saturday July 29, 2016 from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM at the Wallace Civic Center. Jam packed with comic artists, writers, creators, and vendors! Admission is only $2.00! Kids 12 and under are FREE! Guests include:

ANIMANIACS LIVE! in Concert is coming to the Ordway on Sunday April 9, 2017 at 5:00 PM! Randy Rogel, Emmy-winning composer of the original 1992-1998 show, teams up with Emmy-winner (1998, Pinky and the Brain) Rob Paulsen (Yakko Warner) to sing an evening of songs from the hit show. Clips from the series, and anecdotes from Rogel and Paulsen will run in between songs such as “Yakko’s World” and “Variety Speak.” If you are a fan who has been aching for something new pertaining to Animaniacs, this is your time! Voice actor Rob Paulsen leads an acting workshop on Saturday January 23, 2016 from noon till 4:00pm!

Rob Paulsen is one of the most sought-after and experienced voice actors in the business — from his iconic roles as Yakko and Pinky from “Animaniacs,” Carl Wheezer from “Jimmy Neutron,” Donatello and Raphael from two different generations of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” and hundreds more, Rob is a pro in every sense of the word. This four hour workshop will give you a chance to listen to Rob talk about his experiences in the voice over world and the rare opportunity to ask him questions to help you learn about what it takes to make it doing voices for a living!
