Comments Off on NJ – Jay & Silent Bob Return to Red Bank

Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes appear with Walt Flanagan, Bryan Johnson and Brian Quinn at the Count Basie Theatre on October 8, 2011!

Press Release:

Jay & Silent Bob are back! Live in person! Writer, producer, director and actor Kevin Smith’s epic-length Q&A’s at the Basie are legendary. Add actor Jason Mewes to the mix, and you’ve got what fans everywhere have been waiting for! Smith and Mewes became film icons playing the characters Jay & Silent Bob in the movies Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Clerks 2. Sometimes touching, always hilarious, “Jay & Silent Bob Get Old” is a look at growing up in Hollywood’s gaze. This engagement will be recorded for smodcast.com, Kevin Smith’s #1-ranked iTunes Comedy podcast, but you can be there in person! Jay & Silent Bob are dying; watch it as it happens!

Featuring Bryan “Steve-Dave” Johnson, Walt “Fanboy” Flanagan, and Brian “The Dubious Tech Guy” Quinn, Tell ‘Em Steve-Dave! are the comedic trio with their own award winning podcast on the SModcast Podcast Network. It all started when Johnson played Steve-Dave, and Flanagan played Fanboy, who yelled “Tell ’em Steve-Dave!” in the 1995 feature film Mallrats. Now with over 60 podcast episodes to their name, they’re the winners of an iTunes “Best of” award, and two 2010 Podcast Awards, for People’s Choice and Best Comedy.
