GraniteCon Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Save the date!  Granitecon 2013 is September 28th and 29th! To celebrate 10 years of Granitecon we’re expanding to 2 days and moving to the larger Expo Center!  Expect all sorts of fun events, signings and more!  Check out the recently relaunched granitecon.com for some of the early details including our first round of guests!!!

Creators Mike Raicht and Charles Paul Wilson III appear at Midtown Comics Downtown to discuss their book Stuff of Legend on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 6:30pm until 7:30pm.

About The Stuff of Legend
The year is 1944. As Allied forces fight the enemy on Europe’s war-torn beaches, another battle begins in a child’s bedroom in Brooklyn. When the nightmarish Boogeyman snatches a boy and takes him to the realm of the Dark, the child’s playthings, led by the toy soldier known as the Colonel, band together to stage a daring rescue. On their perilous mission they will confront the boy’s bitter and forgotten toys, as well as betrayal in their own ranks. GraniteCon Updates for 2010

So what’s up with Granitecon in 2010?  Quite a bit actually!  On Sunday March 14th we launch our NEW Nashua show at the Radission with featured guest Walter Flanagan of View Askew fame!  Walter is the artist of Kevin Smith’s Batman series Cacophony and Widening Gyre! Plus we’re bringing together the Atomic Robo team of Scott Wegener and Brian Clevinger together for the first time at Granitecon!

Then on Sunday May 23rd we’ve got our annual Manchester show!  We’re moving the show into the Armory room at the Center of NH which will allow more room for dealers, artists, and special events!  Our special guests in Manchester include artists Craig Rousseau (Perhapanauts, Iron Man: Armor Wars), Tim Seeley (Hack/Slash), returning guest Khoi Pham (Mighty Avengers), and the recently added Charles Paul Wilson III (Stuff of Legend) with additional guest announcements coming soon!
