Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, co-creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, reunite for the first time in years to celebrate the Turtles’ 30th anniversary with an appearance at Shellback Artworks on Sunday May 4, 2014 from 1:00 till 4:00 pm! Joining them are fellow Mirage Studios alums Jim Lawson, Eric Talbot, and Steve Lavigne!

There will be an exclusive, Shellback-only, all new print penciled by Peter Laird, inked by Kevin Eastman, and colored by Steve Lavigne. Plus incredible original art for sale, raffles with autographed prizes, and much, much more!

This is the only place in Maine to meet them, and one of the only places in the country to host such a rare event. Come out and share in some TMNT history!

ME – Shellback Artworks Grand Opening

Special guest Peter Lairdco-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, joins artist Steve Lavigne for the opening of his new gallery on Saturday June 16, 2012 from noon to 3:00pm. There will also be an exhibition of original art from Laird’s collection, much of it TMNT work, including some comic book pages.

TMNT 25th Anniversary Panel & Screening and Chaotic Gaming Tournaments Provide Exclusive Fan Opportunities

TORONTO, August 28, 2009 – 4Kids Entertainment, global licensing agent for Chaotic and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), will be showcasing these two brands this weekend at Fan Expo Canada at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from August 28-30. This three-day event promises to be bigger than ever as Fan Expo Canada celebrates its 15th Anniversary.

“The TMNT and Chaotic brands have evolved in no small part thanks tor their dedicated fans across Canada,” said Al Kahn, Chairman and CEO, 4Kids Entertainment. “We look forward to bringing them the new TMNT video games and feature film as well as the new Chaotic beverage, trading cards and TV series.”

Attendees can quench their thirst by heading over to the Chaotic booth (#546) to sample Chaotic’s new nutrient-infused beverages. There will also be exciting raffles held each day of the Expo, providing fans the chance to win Chaotic trading cards, t-shirts, card accessories, and copies of the Chaotic: Shadow Warriors video game from Activision. Raffles will be held on Friday, August 28 at 6 PM and 8 PM, Saturday, August 29 at 12 PM, 3 PM and 6 PM and Sunday, August 30 at 1 PM and 3 PM.

In addition, fans should be ready to get their “game on” at the following tournaments in the Gaming Area in room #808.

iPod Touch Challenge: Friday, August 28 at 4 PM, Saturday, August 29 at 3 PM and Sunday, August 30 at 12 PM
• Play for a chance to win an iPod Touch 8GB in these Sealed Deck Tournaments (Twenty dollar entrance fee)
Playmat Challenge: Daily, check times in the Gaming Area
• Win three matches to win a custom Chaotic Playmat in these 8-person Single Elimination Tournaments (Ten dollar entrance fee)
Championship Challenge: Saturday, August 29 at 10 AM
• Compete for a laptop and an invite to the 2009 World Championship (Twenty-dollar entrance fee)
Youth Challenge: Sunday, August 30 at 12 PM
• Players 13 years old and younger can compete for booster packs and a custom Chaotic playmat (Twenty dollar entrance fee)

For Turtle enthusiasts, a special TMNT panel will be held on Sunday, August 30 from 2- 4 PM in the Convention Centre in room #717. The diverse panelists, who will discuss the long history of the brand and the Turtles’ popularity over the past 25 years, include:

Chaotic is a revolutionary trading card game which integrates a collectible in-person card game with an online multi-player experience.

Each Chaotic trading card is printed with a unique alphanumeric code that enables players to upload their personal card collection onto www.chaoticgame.com. Chaotic connects traditional trading card elements with state-of-the-art technology to create an interactive gaming experience like no other.
