SPOOKY EMPIRE EXPANDS WITH WICKED ADDITION OF SPOOKY DAY IN THE PARKS

A New Event by the Creators of Spooky Empire for a Weekend of Villainy Fun

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – Spooky Empire is thrilled to announce the addition of a new event:  Spooky Day In The Parks. Coming to Central, FL this Fall on September 22 – 23, 2017, Spooky Day in the Parks is a two-day meet up event for fans that have a “villainous” side. The weekend taking place throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort, will include a mixture of Theme Park gatherings, Special VIP events, a “Bizarre” full of merchandise to fulfill their dark side, art exhibit, fashion show, and much more to be announced.

This is an opportunity for fans to gather and celebrate their favorite Disney villains and haunted attractions. Not to mention a chance to step out in your best ghoulish garb. Attendees are encouraged to express themselves through Disney bounding or wicked attire, but do keep in mind this is not a costume or cosplay event. Be it dark or fun, guests will be able to showcase their personal style and materialize for this spirited event.

“We wanted to combine the Spooky Empire brand with our love for Disney. It was only natural to combine the two and honor the villains and haunted theme park attractions,” said the owners of Spooky Empire “We are so excited to see this inaugural event come to life.”

Meet-ups during the event will happen at multiple locations around Walt Disney World:

  • Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort (central location)
  • Magic Kingdom® Park
  • The Twilight Zone Tower of TerrorTM at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®
  • With more to be announced

Ticket packages will be announced soon.

Rooms are available at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for a discounted price of $199 per night. Rooms can be reserved by visiting our website SpookyDayInTheParks.com

Spooky Day in the Parks is not associated with Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, or Magic Kingdom® Park. Spooky Day in the Parks works closely with Disney to insure all park rules and regulations regarding attire are followed.

We’re very excited to add these two guests to our lineup! When PonyBoy and The Karate Kid want to come out to Spooky Empire, we can’t say no.

C. THOMAS HOWELL and RALPH MACCHIO will be at Spooky Empire next weekend, and this is your chance to meet them both in person, to celebrate the upcoming 35th anniversary of the classic film “The Outsiders”

C. THOMAS HOWELL kicked off his career with a small part (Tyler) in the classic “E.T. The Extra Terrestrial”, but after his memorable performance as “Ponyboy Curtis” in “The Outsiders” he became one of the most popular young actors of the 80’s. He went on to star in many films and TV series including (for you horror fans) “The Hitcher” (1 & 2), “Red Dawn”, “Tank”, “Secret Admirer”, “Soulman”, “The Hillside Strangler”, and more recently “Mutant Vampire Zombies from the Hood”, “The Amazing Spiderman”, “Southland”, “Torchwood” “24” and “Grimm”.

RALPH MACCHIO started out in commercials before his regular appearance on “Eight is Enough”. His career also took a jump after his appearance as “Johnny Cade” in the film “The Outsiders”. He went on to star in his most memorable role as “Daniel” in “The Karate Kid” series of films. He also starred in “Teachers”, “Crossroads”, “My Cousin Vinny”, and more recently had a recurring role on “Ugly Betty. He also joined the hit reality show “Dancing with the Stars” in 2011.

Spooky Empire Reschedules convention for December!

spooky_decemberAfter many conversations with the convention center, hotels, agents and staff it looks like we have secured dates to reschedule Spooky Empire!

So please join us for a special Spooky Empire convention this December 2-4, 2016 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

We are working very hard on getting the guest list together and should have some announcements this week. We are working hard on booking some of the guests that were to attend last weekend.

Anyone that has purchased advanced tickets for the October Spooky Empire, we are giving you two options…your tickets will be accepted at either the December rescheduled event OR the April convention (April 21-23, 2017) For general admission ticket holders, there is no notice necessary and tickets do not need to be re-issued, just bring your existing ticket with you to one of the two events.

If you are a VIP package holder, please contact us to let us know which event you’ll be using your VIP package for.
(Emails will be going out to all ticket holders within the next 24 hours)

Due to the rescheduling of this event, tickets are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to use your tickets for either of the two events, these tickets are transferable. They may be sold or given to someone that can use them.

EXHIBITORS AND TATTOO ARTISTS: Your booth space will be available to you for either December OR April. However, we do need to know ASAP so that we can plan the space accordingly for each show. Emails are going out to all of you as well.

For everyone that has supported Spooky Empire over the last week, you will not be forgotten!! Everyone that contributed will be a part of this event in one way or another. Your generous contributions will go towards the expenses associated with making this rescheduled event happen. We are forever grateful and humbled by everyone’s support, patience, dedication and generosity. This is truly a family! The thought of possibly having to close Spooky Empire for good was the worst possible outcome for us, and all of your support this past week made us realize we have to do whatever we can to keep moving forward!

Stay tuned for updates!
