Tim Seeley and his Revival featured at the Southern Maryland Comic-Con on July 7
Fans should expect a “revival” at the upcoming Southern Maryland Comic-Con on July 7, 2012. Creator Tim Seeley will be at the convention to promote his new book, Revival, published by Image Comics.
Awesome Conventions has teamed up with Third Eye Comics to create an exclusive variant cover Revival #1 for Southern Maryland Comic-Con attendees. Seeley will be signing autographs at the Con for anybody who buys the new book. Revival joins Marceline and the Scream Queens, published by Boom! Studios, as the second exclusive comic book making its debut at the Southern Maryland Comic-Con.
The Southern Maryland Comic-Con is a comic book convention and pop culture festival that takes place twice a year in Waldorf, Maryland. The next Con is July 7, 2012, and runs from 10am to 5pm. Tickets are $10 for adults; kids get in free.
Already featuring the most vendors and artists of any Con in the DC area, the Southern Maryland Comic-Con sets itself apart by providing a full schedule of special guests, gaming, discussion panels, and costume contests! Don’t forget the Kids Corner, which will train future superheroes on a gentle obstacle course, and test their art skills with free coloring books.
The Southern Maryland Comic-Con is presented in collaboration with Third Eye Comics, Maryland’s premiere comic book stores. With locations in Annapolis and Southern Maryland, Third Eye Comics gives comic fans their own weekly dose of geeky fun each and every week.
