Seth Green, Matthew Senreich and Breckin Meyer will set off on an historical voyage across the country with the Robot Chicken on Wheels ’09 Tour, part of the Adult Swim Presents series. In each of these nine cities, the boys will stop at a roller skating rink and spread the madness that is Robot Chicken.
There will be games and competitions, plenty of skating and a performace by the band Gym Class Heroes. There will also be appearances by RC writers, producers, voice cast members, as well as guest bands. Zac Efron could be considered a suspect.
The tour will begin in San Diego (sans band), coinciding with the penultimate day of Comic-Con International ’09, the nation’s biggest comic convention and end up in New York City, spanning nearly three weeks and over three thousand miles.
There’s an as.com page here that provides these details and promises a full site to come. It also invites you to watch the teaser video embedded to the right. It features Breckin Meyer ripping Zac Efron a new one over a skate-related issue, parodying a recent altercation between Perez Hilton and the band Black Eyed Peas.
All shows will open the doors at 8PM. Fans who have purchased the Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II DVD (releases 7/21) will be able to get in an hour earlier with a voucher found in the DVD box. Click a skating rink below to go to its official website for more information. We also have a google map providing the exact locations.
