To celebrate 25 years of Watchmen – the only graphic novel included in Time Magazine’s “All-TIME 100 Greatest Novels” list – original Watchmen team member John Higgins has created a brand-new limited-edition Watchmen portfolio exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con 2011.
The new portfolio comes in two flavors, each containing a set of three individual prints of fan-favorite characters Sally Jupiter, Rorschach, and The Comedian, each richly-detailed image penciled, inked and colored by John Higgins.
Set A: Limited to 80 copies.
The A3-sized prints (11.7″ x 16.5″) are colored in Turmoil Colour Studios’ modern color style and printed on Tintoretto Gesso 250gsm paper using the latest computer-controlled technology for a high-quality print run. All prints signed and numbered by John Higgins.
Available only at SDCC 2011 at the special price of $90 per set.
Set B: Limited to 20 copies.
Containing three A3 (11.7″ x 16.5″)silk-screened prints on perfect Velin Arches Blanc 250gsm paper, with hand-separated color by John in the style of the classic Watchmen coloring. These hand-finished prints are all numbered, signed and embossed with the Turmoil Colour Studios symbol by John Higgins.
Available only at SDCC 2011 at the special price of $300 per set.

Jeff Smith celebrates the 20th anniversary of BONE with a world tour stopping in six cities across three countries. It starts at Comic-Con International in San Diego where the 20th Anniversary Box Set makes its official debut! ThunderCats, one of the most beloved cartoons of the 1980s and a continuing cultural force, comes to Cartoon Network in an all-new contemporary reimagining of the iconic animated series. Set as an epic tale, ThunderCats tells the story of a hero’s journey to fulfill his ultimate destiny. The series begins with an hour-long special premiere event on Friday, July 29, at 8 p.m. (ET, PT). Following the premiere, the show will air regularly on Cartoon Network Friday nights at 8:30 p.m. (ET, PT) beginning August 5.
Thunder, Thunder, ThunderCats! Ho!! On Third Earth, the kingdom of Thundera is being threatened by the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra, and Lion-O, the young heir to the throne, embarks on a great quest to take his rightful place as king. To celebrate the premiere, ThunderCats will have a significant presence at Comic-Con International: San Diego. A panel scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 22 in room 6A will include an exclusive screening of the hour-long series premiere. Producers Michael Jelenic, Ethan Spaulding and art director Dan Norton will participate in a subsequent panel discussion and answer questions from fans. Coinciding with Comic-Con, Cartoon Network will also air nine episodes from the classic ThunderCats series over the weekend of July 23. Boomerang will also host a classic ThunderCats marathon on July 16 and 17 and air the series every day at 5 p.m. starting Monday, July 18.

It has been four years since our friend Pierre Alary last came to Comic-Con. We are very excited to have him making a return appearance this year. We will have all three volumes of Belladone and all three volumes of Sinbad available. Pierre will sign on Thursday and Friday. John Fleskes has graciously offered Pierre signing space at the Flesk Publications booth (#5019) directly opposite ours (Booth #5012).
Pierre will be bringing some original art which he will have for sale.

$400 for a single character, full figure, inked, with a simple background and/or watercolor accents.
$300 for a single character, full figure, inked, no background.
$250 for a single character, full figure, in pencil.
