Hero Initiative Rolls Out Massive SDCC 2018 Plans

The Hero Initiative, the charity dedicated to helping comic book creators in medical or financial need, is travelling into Comic-Con International in San Diego, July 18-22. We have exclusives, parties, and special guests throughout the weekend that you will not want to miss! Booth #5003 is the place to be!

Things kick off Wednesday July 18th with Gabe Eltaeb’s Comic Kickoff Fundraiser and Party at Basic Bar and Pizza at 410 10thAve. in San Diego from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.! Win great raffle prizes, meet amazing artists and have a couple drinks all to support Hero initiative! Artists in attendance include Todd Nauck, Jim Calafiore, and more.

The parties continue July 19th with Stone Brewing’s annual Hop-Con! Stone’s famous w00tstout beer will flow at Stone’s World Bistro, and artist Joe Jusko has the honor to create this year’s label and print. Prints will be available for sale at the venue and at Hero’s booth at the convention! Don’t miss out on this epic event! Proceeds benefit get your tickets NOW!

Joe Jusko will anchor the Hero booth, #5003, all weekend, and will be joined by guest creators Dan Jurgens, Adam Warren, Ken Lashley, John Layman, and Paul Levitz!

The Albany Comics and Toy Show is a twice a year event in the Capital District of Albany in Upstate New York. Now in it’s 7th year. Comic Con Revolution West Palm Beach Will Feature Top Comic Talent In Addition To A Full Day of Programming Capped Off With Our Cosplay Revolution Costume Contest

New York, NY September 6, 2017 – Atomic Crush Events (ACE) is pleased to announce Comic Con Revolution West Palm Beach (CCR WPB).  The inaugural 1-day event at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018.  CCR WPB will feature a guest list of top industry talent and a full day of programming including our Cosplay Revolution Costume Contest, exhibitors and vendors.

Our initial guest list includes Chris Claremont, Sandy King Carpenter, Jeff Dekal, Joe Eisma, Travis Hanson, Hope Larson, Shawn Martinbrough, Ron Marz, Richard Starkings and hosting our Cosplay Revolution Costume Contest is Ming Chen (AMC’s Comic Book Men). Expect several additional announcements to be made as guests continue to confirm their appearances.

Hero Initiative hits Phoenix Comicon with Special Guest Rick Leonardi & Wonder Woman 100 Live Auction

Hero Initiative, the charity that helps comic book creators in medical and financial need, will hit the Phoenix Comicon in a HUGE way at the Phoenix Convention Center May 25-May 28.

Special guest artist Rick Leonardi will be at the Hero booth, #396-398, Friday through Sunday. Rick has been entertaining comic fans for 30 years on titles ranging from Cloak and Dagger to Uncanny X-Men, so make sure you swing by the booth for sketches and autographs!

And Hero’s MASSIVE event will be the second stage of The Wonder Woman 100 Project auctions! You can swing by the booth to view 37 original Wonder Woman covers and bid on them in an exciting auction on Saturday, May 27th at 6:00 PM in Room 127C in the convention center. Bidders who cannot attend the convention can bid by proxy with a deadline of May 23rd. Full details are at the Wonder Woman 100 Project gallery.

In addition, artists across the floor will be raising money for Hero all weekend.
