On Saturday, June 30th, Rogues Gallery hosts their second annual all-ages events, featuring a whole bunch of creators who will sketch, sign and talk with kids about making comics! And, for the first time this year, kids will participate in making a comic in the store!
Our guests this year are:
Ty Templeton – Ultimate Spider-Man, Batman Adventures, Superman Adventures, lots more!
Shane & Chris Houghton – Creators of Reed Gunther, Bear-Riding Cowboy, have also worked on Boom! Studios’ Peanuts and Adventure Time books!
Chad Thomas – Worked on Archie’s Young Salem and Megaman, plus lots more!
Evan Bryce – Wide variety of comics work, art teacher and some of the wildest, coolest color prints in the universe!
Mike Bullock – Writer of hit indy all-ages book Lions, Tigers & Bears!
Yehudi Mercado – Creator of Buffalo Speedway, promoting next year’s all-ages Archaia graphic novel Pantalones, TX!
The event will run from 10 AM – 6 PM! Kids will help creators create a comic in store starting at 1 PM! Tell your friends!

IL – Angel & Faith Signing

Artist Rebekah Isaacs appears at The Rogues Gallery on Friday, June 22nd from 7-10pm for the opening of her month-long exhibition. Ms. Isaacs will sign copies of the first collection of ANGEL & FAITH as well as an exclusive Rogues Gallery print.
Event runs 7pm-10pm. 21+ event, wine and beer will be served. Exhibition will be available to the public through August 6th 2012.

Rogues Gallery is proud to announce that on Saturday, April 7th we’ll be playing host to the creative team to the buzz Image book Morning Glories, writer Nick Spencer and artist Joe Eisma!
To prepare for the event, both trades and the hardcover of Morning Glories will be 10% off for the entire month of March and the first week of April.
We’ll be having games and events similar to what we did with our Chew event on the actual day, as well as autographs by the creative team.
Spencer, in addition to Morning Glories, has written Iron Man 2.0, Secret Avengers and Ultimate Comics X-Men for Marvel, as well as numerous creator-owned series for Image, and is co-writing the new Image series Thief of Thieves. We will have a cross-section of his work available for sale and signing on the day of the event.

Rogues Gallery welcomes creator Mike Bullock to Austin with an all-ages signing on Saturday, September 3rd!
In attendance will be Mike Bullock (Lions, Tigers & Bears, Gimoles), Alan Porter Jr. (Cars) and Matthew Weldon (New Brighton Archaeological Society). Bullock and Porter will be here from 1-4 PM, and Weldon will be signing from 2-4 PM!
We’ll be having a coloring contest for kids as a lead-up to the event, with our creators judging the entries on the day! There will be prizes for different age groups, including Lions, Tigers & Bears t-shirts, comics grab bags and more! If your child would like to color an entry for the contest, you can print the page at this link. We’ll also have copies of the page printed out at the store next week for anyone who would like to take one.

Join us for our all-ages awesomeness event, featuring guests Chad Thomas (Mega Man, Young Salem), Kazu Kibuishi (Amulet, Copper, Flight) and Chris Schweizer (Crogan’s Adventures)!
Kids can talk to comic book artists about comics and drawing, and everyone can get autographs! Free sketches will be available for as many folks as time allows for, and we’ll have a small selection of free comics early on in the day!
We’ll have items for sale from all of the guests, including Chad’s Mega Man #1 variant cover, volumes of Amulet, Copper, and Crogan’s Adventures, plus Chris Schweizer’s new sketchbook!

Joel Watson signs on Oct 24th
Hijinks Ensue creator signing – October 24th
Rogues Gallery is proud to welcome Joel Watson, the creator of Hijinks Ensue, for a signing at the store on Saturday, October 24th from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.
Watson will have his first book, “Godspeed You Fancy Bastard” on sale at the signing, as well as buttons and prints. He will also be artist-in-residence for the superhero-themed improv show Ka-Baam! on Friday and Saturday of that weekend.
