| It’s the 20th anniversary of the Clifton NJ Comic Book Expo!
Show hours are 10-4 and admission is free. Millions and millions of comic books have changed hands at this, the longest running monthly comic book convention in America! As always. there will also be hundreds of thousands of comic books available for purchase from dozens of the finest, friendliest and most reputable vendors in the Northeast, ranging from 50 cent readers to investment grade key issues worth tens of thousands of dollars, along with a no-minimum-bid auction at noon and door prizes throughout the day. Our dealers all respect and appreciate our customers! We will have incredible comics as door prizes and very special guests, so check back to conventionscene often for updates!

It was the only date available. In memory of all that we lost on that day we will be collecting donations for the Red Cross whose need is great after Hurricane Irene. Once again, our dealers’ room is packed with over 60 tables! Many dealers will be offering special discounts to collectors that lost books to the hurricane. Great Comic Book Adventure at New Jersey Six Flags May 29th

The Great Comic Book Adventure-the first comicon ever held at Six Flags Great Adventure-will be taking place this Sunday, May 29th from 10:30-8:00.

The costume contest has been canceled (Please do NOT come in costume), The events scheduled so far include:
12:00 “Comic Book School” with writer and publisher Buddy Scalera-Find out how a comic book is created from start to finish.
1:00 Chuck Rozanski-the owner of Mile High Comics and largest comic book dealer in the world will tell the incredible story of how he found the most valuable comic book collection ever… followed by a Q&A.
2:00 A “no minimum bid” auction to benefit The Childrens’ Miracle Network. Great deals for a great cause.
3:00 Find out what it’s like to be the only blind comic book dealer in the world when we interview Adam Cerniglia.
4:00 What’s a “Web Comic”? Danielle O’Brien and Bill Ellis, the creators of “All New Issues” will tell you!
Artists including Neal Adams, Irwin Hasen, Sean Chen, Lee Weeks, Daxiong, Doug Baron and Glenn Whitmore will be available at various times throughout the day for signing and sketching. Neal Adams Named Guest of Honor for the Six Flags Great Comic Book Adventure

The guest of honor at Six Flags Great Comic Book Adventure-the first comicon ever held at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ will be the legendary Neal Adams! As one of the greatest comic book artists of all time, it’s impossible to measure how much his talent has impacted the medium.
His redefinition of Green Lantern makes him the perfect choice to headline a show being held in conjunction with the opening of the Green Lantern rollercoaster.
He joins a roster that includes Irwin Hasen, Lee Weeks, Sean Chen, Fred Hembeck, Doug Baron, Glenn Whitmore, John B. Lai, Daxiong, Buddy Scalera and more!
Dealers will be selling everything from bargain comics to GA keys and include favorites like Midtown Comics, Dave’s American Comics, Wild Pig and many more.
The show is Sunday, May 29th from 10:30 to 8:00
There will be a charity auction at 2:00 to benefit the Childrens’ Miracle Network.
At 4:00 there will be a costume contest with 2 season passes given to the best costume over age 12 and 2 for the best costume 12 and under. Rules will be published shortly.
