LOS ANGELES, Calif., April 8, 2010 – Top Cow Productions, Inc. is proud to announce its plans for this year’s inaugural Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2), the new pop culture convention brought together at McCormick Place in Chicago from April 16th-18th.

Top Cow is a proud sponsor of C2E2 and can be found at booth #551. Fans who stop by the Top Cow booth will be among the first to be able to get a glimpse and purchase Magdalena #1 by Ron Marz (Witchblade, Green Lantern) and Nelson Blake II (Pilot Season: Murderer, The Darkness). The story centers on Patience, the current Magdalena and bearer of the Spear of Destiny in the Top Cow Universe. Patience finds herself unable to trust those in charge of the Catholic Church and faced with the decision if she can work with them to fulfill her role as the Church’s protector or not. Magdalena #1 will arrive in stores on Wednesday, April 21st.

The publisher will be offering two exclusive C2E2 variant covers for the event: a wrap-around Magdalena #1 variant by Blake II and a Darkness #84 photo cover featuring Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs. The exclusives are both extremely limited and will be initially made available at C2E2. LOS ANGELES, Calif., March 8, 2010 – Top Cow Productions, Inc. announced its plans today for this weekend’s Emerald City ComiCon, the Pacific Northwest’s premier comic book and pop culture convention.  This year’s Emerald City ComiCon will be held at the Washington State Convention Center on March 13-14, 2010.  Fans are encouraged to stop by the Top Cow booth (#304) to meet their favorite creators, pick up the Emerald City ComiCon convention variant as well as their favorite Top Cow comics.

Hero Initiative Announces Membership Party featuring Tim Sale Three-Minute sketches and ECCC Schedule!

Los Angeles, CA: Hero Initiative will be at the 8th annual Emerald City Comic Con, March 13-14 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Wash. Hero will have a star-studded guest list throughout the weekend, and a membership party at Ruth’s Chris Steak House at the Grand Hyatt Downtown Saturday night featuring artist Tim Sale. All proceeds will benefit Hero Initiative, a non-profit organization helping comic creators in need.

Fans who become new members of Hero Initiative on Saturday at the con will receive tickets to our Member Appreciation party. The party will be held from 10-11 pm at Ruth’s Chris Bar and Grill located at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Existing members, bring your membership cards for entry! At the party Tim Sale will be drawing “Colorful Characters of Marvel,” three-minute sketches at only $20 each, one per customer! There are only 10 slots available, so get to the Hero booth early on Saturday to reserve yours. They are sold on a first come, first served basis.

And the mayor of Seattle has put together a proclamation for the Seattle born-and-bred Tim Sale in recognition of his success in the comic book industry and his dedication in helping Hero Initiative. The presentation will be made at the party, so become a member so you can help celebrate!

LOS ANGELES, Calif., July 20th, 2009 – Top Cow Productions, Inc. proudly announced today its plans for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the world’s biggest and most exciting popular culture convention brought together in the San Diego Convention Center in California from July 23rd-26th.

Top Cow will set up in booth #2629 and barrels into the convention with exclusives, preview books and free goodies to augment their headlining announcements, including free copies of Berserker #0, the Cyberforce/Hunter-Killer First Look, tons of Top Cow bookmarks, and lots more (while supplies last).

Fans are invited to join Marc Silvestri (Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Utopia), Matt Hawkins (President of Top Cow) and Filip Sablik (Publisher of Top Cow) as they hit you with a hurricane of exciting news and announcements from comics, film, television, anime, and much more! This includes a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive cover to Witchblade #128 featuring the artwork of Stjepan Sejic and an exclusive variant cover homage to Frank Frazetta by Kenneth Rocafort to Cyberforce/Hunter-Killer #1. Alongside these comic variant covers, the Top Cow Booth (#2629) will be selling Comic-Con exclusives of The Top Cow Bible softcover and The Art of Top Cow hard cover (books premiering at the San Diego Comic-Con Top Cow Booth). Top Cow will also debut a special First Look issue for a new series entitled Tracker, produced in conjunction with Heroes and Villains Entertainment.

Fans should note that because of anticipated crowding issues; artists appearing at the Top Cow booth will only be able to do a limited amount of free sketches per sitting. Sketch tickets will be available at the beginning of each day of the show. Sketch tickets are limited one per fan per day. Fans must be present at the appointed signing time to redeem their sketch ticket. Not all artists appearing at the Top Cow booth will offer free sketches and fans should inquire at the booth on the morning they plan to get a sketch for availability.
