THAT’S HIS NAME, DON’T WEAR IT OUT!

We are VERY excited to announce that PAUL REUBENS will be joining us for his FIRST EVER MONSTER-MANIA appearance at MONSTER-MANIA CON 39 the weekend of MARCH 9-11th in Cherry Hill, NJ!

PAUL has been one of our most requested guests and we listen to our fans! PAUL is an actor, writer, comedian and film producer who is widely recognized for his character PEE-WEE HERMAN. In 1980 PAUL developed THE PEE-WEE HERMAN SHOW that initially debuted as a midnight show at the popular Groundlings theatre in Los Angeles and later at L.A.’s Roxy Theatre. HBO’s television special of the production helped launched PEE-WEE into stardom.

In 1985, a then unknown director named Tim Burton filmed the very popular PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE, taking the film world by storm. The next year CBS launched the Saturday morning children’s program PEE-WEE’S PLAYHOUSE. The show ran from 1986-1990 and was once again widely popular with fans. In 2010 PAUL rebooted THE PEE-WEE HERMAN SHOW and took it to Broadway. The highly acclaimed production was once again filmed for an HBO special. In 2016 Paul and co-producer Judd Apatow brought a brand new Pee-wee film to Netflix, PEE-WEE’S BIG HOLIDAY.

Of course, PAUL has also starred in a vast number of other projects as well. MONSTER-MANIA fans will surely recognize PAUL for his role as AMILYN in 1992’s comedy horror film BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER.

Comic book fans will know PAUL for his role as ELIJAH VAN DAHL, the Penguin’s father in the popular GOTHAM series, a role he also played in Tim Burton’s BATMAN RETURNS. Some of Paul’s other projects include THE BLUES BROTHERS, CHEECH AND CHONG’S NEXT MOVIE and NICE DREAMS, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, MATILDA, PUSHING DAISIES, THE BLACKLIST, BLOW and many, many more!

Please join us in welcoming PAUL REUBENS to his FIRST MM appearance with us at MONSTER-MANIA CON 39 in Cherry Hill, NJ!
