Splash Page Comic Art will be setup in ARTIST ALLEY this year for New York Comic Con 2016 with the following artists: Roland Boschi, Max Fiumara, Paolo Rivera, Goran Sudzuka, and Dalibor Talajic.
Roland Boschi has worked on Ghost Rider with Jason Aaron, Wolverine MAX, Punisher including Frankencastle, Magneto, and X-Men titles. He has also done work on Secret Wars, Hail Hydra, and Winter Soldier: The Bitter March.
Max Fiumara has worked on several titles including Amazing Spider-Man, Namor, and Hulk Smash Avengers, along with Four Eyes, his creator-owned series through Image with writer Joe Kelly, and worked on a long run of Abe Sapien for Dark Horse.
Paolo Rivera became a household name with Marvel on their Mythos series as well as Amazing Spider-Man. Paolo transitioned primarily to pencil and ink work on covers and pencils on interiors with his father Joe doing inks, on his Daredevil run. He also worked for Valiant and most recently on Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. 1953.
Goran Sudzuka broke through with Outlaw Nation, and went on to do Hellblazer projects, Y the Last Man, Ghosted, Wolverine, Thors, and most recently Daredevil.
Dalabor Talajic has worked on a number of Marvel titles including several Deadpool projects including Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, Dexter, Hit Monkey, and recently Red Wolf.
We have opened pre-signup lists on a first come first serve basis for Roland, Max, Goran, and Dalibor and the pieces must be picked up at NYCC. Artist Alley Table locations will be posted closer to the show date.
While Lee Bermejo will not have his own table, he’ll be at the show for a limited time so he’s taking TWO pre-order convention sketches.

(OTCBB: WIZD) and Skybound, Robert Kirkman’s imprint at Image Comics, today announced that Mythos painter and Daredevil penciler and Eisner Award winnerPaolo Rivera has drawn the 12th in a yearlong series of Limited Edition Exclusive Variant Covers of The Walking Dead #1 comic, to be provided free to all full-price attendees at Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento, June 19-21. Skybound’sThe Walking Deadcreated by Kirkman, the groundbreaking, Eisner Award winning comic book series, continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
The exclusive The Walking Dead #1 edition will be produced in extremely limited quantities and is available at registration to fans at the Sacramento Convention Center only while supplies last. VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version of the comic.
Rivera started working for Marvel Comics in 2002. Although he began his career painting in oil, he has since moved on to penciling, inking, and coloring (with some occasional sculpting). He was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Fla., and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003, where he studied under David Mazzucchelli. He broke into the comics industry thanks to writer Jim Krueger, whom he met at Megacon in Orlando, Fla. (while still in high school).
Rivera’s best-known painted work is Mythos , a series of six richly-painted origin stories written by Paul Jenkins. Originally published as one-shots, it was collected into a hardcover edition in 2008. He now limits his painted work to covers including The Twelve, The Iliad, The Amazing Spider-Man and Wolverine, among many others. More recently, he penciled six issues of Mark Waid’s Daredevil run. His father, Joe Rivera, inked the issues, for which they received two Eisners.

About Robert Kirkman
Robert Kirkman is the creator of many popular comic books, including the Eisner Award-winning The Walking Dead, long-running Invincible, all-ages Super Dinosaur , and the new exorcism comic, Outcast which was released in June 2014 and recently received a pilot pickup for CINEMAX with Fox International.
Since entering the comics scene with his self-published cult-hit Battle Pope in 2000, the Kentucky native has risen to fame as one of the most successful names in comics and entertainment. Hero Initiative makes first-ever trip to Wizard World Sacramento!
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 27, 2014) Hero Initiative will be heading to Wizard World Sacramento March 7-9 at the Sacramento Convention center located at 1400 J Street to raise money for comic creators in need.
Artists around the floor have volunteered to be goodwill ambassadors, asking for donations to help Hero throughout the weekend. Make sure to drop by Paolo Rivera (Booth #A17), Jimmie Robinson (B14), and Arthur Suydam (A41) to help out!
In addition, Hero will be raffling off a Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again statue based on the art of Frank Miller, courtesy of Sacramento’s own Empires Comic Vault! You could be the lucky winner, so stop by booth 600A! See you there!
