$15 tickets available HERE…

About NAPOLEON DYNAMITE:
From the rural town of Preston, Idaho, comes Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder). With a red ‘fro, his moon boots, and illegal government ninja moves, he is a new kind of hero. His family consists of fragile brother Kip (Aaron Ruell), who’s seeking his soul-mate in online chat rooms; Uncle Rico (Jon Gries), who is stuck in his “glory” days of high school football; and Grandma (Sandy Martin), who enjoys going out to the dunes on her quad-runner.

Napoleon spends his days drawing magical beasts, working on his computer hacking skills to impress the chicks, and begrudgingly feeding his Grandma’s pet llama. When his friend Pedro (Efren Ramirez) decides to run for class president, it is Napoleon to the rescue to help him triumph over adversity.

About Jon Heder:
Jonathan Joseph “Jon” Heder is an American actor and producer. His feature film debut came as the title character of the comedy film Napoleon Dynamite (2004), which quickly became a cult favorite. He has also acted in the films The Benchwarmers (2006), School for Scoundrels (2006), Blades of Glory (2007), Mama’s Boy (2007), When in Rome (2010), and Walt Before Mickey (2015).

Jon has also provided voice talents to such animated films Monster House (2006) and Surf’s Up (2007), as well as the Napoleon Dynamite animated series (2012).

Nickel City Con Presents: Clerks Screening + Jason Mewes Q&A

Press Release:

Join Nickel City Con as Jay & Silent Bob’s more loquacious half, Jason Mewes, hosts a LIVE, in-person Q&A before a screening of Kevin Smith’s timeless filmmaking debut CLERKS at the North Park Theatre on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 9:30 PM!

$15 tickets available HERE…

SPECIAL OFFER: The first 100 tickets sold will get a FREE Friday pass to the Con! A $15 value.

About CLERKS:
When Dante Hicks (Brian O’Halloran) is reluctantly put in charge of the Quick Stop market on his day off, he tries, though half-heartedly, to perform his minimum-wage duties as efficiently as possible. This gets tough amidst the on-going fight with his girlfriend, Veronica (Marilyn Ghigliotti), and his attempt to get back together with his ex-girlfriend, Caitlyn Bree (Lisa Spoonhauer).

Meanwhile, his friend and alter ego Randall (Jeff Anderson) is working behind the counter of the adjacent video store — at least when he feels like it. Randall’s unabashed disdain of his place of employment, a long with his self-admitted hatred towards its customers is a sharp contrast to Dante’s feeble attempts at the niceties of customer service. Much of the film consists of Randall and Dante’s criticism of their customers, their lives, and the world in general.

Clerks, filmed in black-and-white on a budget of only $27,000, began the career of writer director Kevin Smith, who would go on to make Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997), Dogma (1999), and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001).

About Jason Mewes:
Jason Mewes is an American television and film actor, film producer and internet radio show host. Born and raised in Highlands, New Jersey, along with his best friend and future filmmaker Kevin Smith. He has played Jay, the vocal half of the duo Jay and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith), throughout the View Askewniverse films.
