Copies of ‘Actors Anonymous’, ‘Palo Alto’ and ‘Directing Herbert White’ will be available to purchase on the day at Waterstones Piccadilly, proof of a Waterstones receipt may be required. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Begin your weekend with actor, author, and artist James Franco. Franco has appeared in a wide array of films such as Milk, Pineapple Express, Spider-Man, and Howl. His book of short stories, Palo Alto: Stories, was released in the fall of 2010. In June of this year, Franco had his first solo exhibit Dangerous Book Four Boys, a mixed media event at Clocktower Gallery. The show can now be seen its entirety in a new book sharing the same title with the show.

Buy a copy of The Dangerous Book Four Boys (plus Free Strand Tote Bag) or a $20 Strand gift card in order to attend this event. Both options admit one person. The event will be located in the Strand’s 3rd floor Rare Book Room at our store at 828 Broadway at 12th Street.
