Anyone who purchases the VIP package will also receive a ticket to accompany Rob Liefeld to a screening of the film on Thursday, May 17th at a theater and showing in Orange, CA. Times TBA.

Hero Initiative hits Phoenix Comicon with Special Guest Rick Leonardi & Wonder Woman 100 Live Auction

Hero Initiative, the charity that helps comic book creators in medical and financial need, will hit the Phoenix Comicon in a HUGE way at the Phoenix Convention Center May 25-May 28.

Special guest artist Rick Leonardi will be at the Hero booth, #396-398, Friday through Sunday. Rick has been entertaining comic fans for 30 years on titles ranging from Cloak and Dagger to Uncanny X-Men, so make sure you swing by the booth for sketches and autographs!

And Hero’s MASSIVE event will be the second stage of The Wonder Woman 100 Project auctions! You can swing by the booth to view 37 original Wonder Woman covers and bid on them in an exciting auction on Saturday, May 27th at 6:00 PM in Room 127C in the convention center. Bidders who cannot attend the convention can bid by proxy with a deadline of May 23rd. Full details are at the Wonder Woman 100 Project gallery.

In addition, artists across the floor will be raising money for Hero all weekend. Come out to the 6th annual So Cal Comic Con on Sunday, October 18th, from 10am-5pm, at the QLN Conference Center in Oceanside! Kids 13 and under, and any member of the military, get in for FREE! Our Guest of Honor for this year’s show is Rob Liefeld, who is the creator of Cable, X-Force, and Deadpool, as well as the creator and publisher of titles like Youngblood and Bloodstrike.

The 1st 100 people in line get a FREE gift bag STUFFED with cool comics. There are raffles throughout the day where you can win prizes like signed comics, original artwork, and toy packages! Dozens of comic and toy vendors are on hand to sell your favorite Golden, Silver, Bronze, or Modern Age comics and toys. Check out our 1st annual Costume Contest and panel discussions throughout the day. IDW Publishing and Darby Pop will be in attendance, along with numerous comic creators, including:
