RADAMES PERA, who starred as young Kwai Chang Caine “Grasshopper” in the 1972-75 KUNG FU Television Series. RADAMES starred as the younger version of Caine played as an adult by David Carradine. RADAMES is the only surviving cast member from KUNG FU and he is making his First Autograph Signing Appearance at the Convention. RADAMES also starred in a classic Rod Serling’s Night Gallery episode Silent Snow/Secret Snow, Little House on the Prairie, Shazam!, and Six Million Dollar Man.

EDWARD FURLONG starred as John Connor in JAMES CAMERON’S TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, and his other credits include The Crow: Wicked Prayer, Pet Sematary Two, Detroit Rock City, and several episodes of the television series CSI:NY.

Planet of the ApesLos Angeles, CA-December 4, 2012-The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION begins the 36th year of shows on Sunday, January 13, 2013 with a Planet of the Apes Celebration featuring the largest assembly of Stars from the Movie and Television series. 2013 is the 45th Anniversary of the first Classic Planet of the Apes Movie and 40th Anniversary of the last in the series Battle for the Planet of the Apes.

Appearing from Planet of the Apes will be Lou Wagner (Lucias) and Linda Harrison (Nova). Lou’s other credits include starring as Harlan Arliss in CHiPs, Lost in Space, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and currently starring in Fox-TV’s Raising Hope. Linda’s credits include Bracken’s World, Batman and Barnaby Jones.

Appearing from Battle for the Planet of the Apes will be Austin Stoker (Macdonald), France Nuyen (Alma) and Bobby Porter (as Cornelius, son of Cesar played by Roddy McDowell). Austin’s other credits include John Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13 and Abby. France’s credits include Star Trek episode Elaan of Troyius, Man From U.N.C.L.E., Kung Fu, I Spy. Bobby’s credits include two episodes of the Planet of the Apes Television series, starring as Andy in Quark, Fantastic Journey and Wizards and Warriors.

LOS ANGELES, CA – July 27, 2011 -The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION takes place on Sunday, August 21, 2011 and features Special Guests signing autographs:

DAVID HEDISON, known for his starring roles in the 1958 classic version of the Horror/Science Fiction movie The Fly and as Captain Lee Crane in the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea TV series (the final DVD collecting the series was released this year). David also starred as Felix Leiter in two James Bond Movies.

REB BROWN starred as Captain America/Steve Rogers in two 1979 Captain America CBS-TV Movies, Captain America and Captain America II: Death Too Soon. Reb’s also starred in several cult Horror and Science Fiction Movies such as The Sword and The Sorcerer, and guest starred in many classic TV series of the 1970s-1990s.

JUDY STRANGIS starred as Dyna Girl in the classic 1976 Krofft TV series Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, the first and only TV series featuring a Superheroine duo and the show was very similar in style to the Batman 1966 TV series. Judy is also known for starring in the TV series Room 222. 2011 is the 35th Anniversary of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, so come meet Dyna Girl during this special occasion.

WILLIAM SMITH starred as Conan’s father in the original 1982 Movie version of Conan (being released this month on Blu-Ray). Though his role was small it left a lasting impression. William is also known as being one of the best film villains, starring in many cult Horror, Science Fiction, Biker, and Action Movies. William’s also known for starring with Clint Eastwood in Any Which Way You Can (just released on Blu-Ray).

Other guests include ALEX HYDE-WHITE, who starred as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and REBECCA STAAB starred as Sue Richards/Invisible Girl in the Roger Corman produced 1994 Movie, The Fantastic Four. Though this version of the Fantastic Four was never officially released, it has managed to turn up on DVD. SHARON FARRELL starred in the 12th season of the original Hawaii Five-O, and guest starred in many classic TV series of the 1960s-1980s and Horror movies such as It’s Alive. FELIX RYAN stars as Spike Skullovitch in the new Nickelodeon TV series Power Rangers Samurai, and he will be signing for free for his charity. The Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention takes place on Sunday, September 19, 2010 and features Special Guests Daniel Logan, Todd Bridges, and the Cast of Ray Bradbury’s Chrysalis.

Daniel Logan starred as a young Boba Fett in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and is the voice of Boba Fett for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. There’s a lot of activity with Boba Fett right now: the new season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars starts during September, Hasbro is releasing several young Boba Fett action figures as well as a Boba Fett Helmet and a Clone Wars Boba Fett Electronic Blaster, Kenner is releasing a Classic Rocket Firing Boba Fett, and Dark Horse Comics just released a Star Wars: Blood Ties Comic Book featuring Boba Fett and Jango Fett. Daniel will be signing autographs from 11:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.

Todd Bridges starred as Willis in the 1970/1980′s Television series Diff’rent Strokes. Todd has written a new book called From Diff’rent Strokes: To the Mean Streets to the Life I Always Wanted. Todd will be signing autographs from 11:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.

Joe is also a very busy screenwriter for Movies, writing last year’s The Changeling starring Angelina Jolie for which he received critical acclaim. Joe’s latest screenplay is for Ninja Assassin produced by the Wachowski Brothers (The Matrix, V for Vendetta) and opens in theaters in November. The 40th Anniversary Film Screening of The Green Slime with stars Robert Horton and Luciana Paluzzi appearing in person. A space station is invaded by tentacled green alien creatures, The Green Slime, that multiply when hit with laser guns. This all leads to the grand Outer Space battle as the crew suits up with flying jet packs to blow up the Space Station and The Green Slime. The Green Slime is considered a Science Fiction cult classic for it’s low budget Special Effects and wacky theme song, and it’s not to be confused with a Michael Bay production. Directed by Kinji Fukasaku who went on to critical acclaim for another cult Movie, Battle Royale. Luciana Paluzzi is also known for starring as Fiona Volpe, the henchwoman to Largo in the James Bond Movie Thunderball. The Green Slime screens on Film, not DVD, at 12:00 P.M. and Robert and Luciana will sign autographs from 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. (there is a charge for the autograph but it includes a photo).
