Japan fashion blogger and TV host La Carmina will be appears as Guest of Honor at Anime Evolution convention in Vancouver.
La Carmina, a writer and TV presenter best known for her appearances on “Bizarre Foods,” “Oddities,” “Kawaii TV” and “Taboo,” will be presenting two panels on Friday, June 28th. She will speak about breaking into the Tokyo entertainment industry, and give advice on traveling and living in Japan.
La Carmina will also be doing autograph signings on Thursday, June 27th and Friday, June 28th.
Born and raised in Vancouver, she is proud to support an anime event in her hometown.
Anime Evolution 2013 at the University of British Columbia is Vancouver’s premier event for anime, manga, gaming, and every kind of related fandom.
Not only will this mark the return to the full 3-day format, but this special event celebrates the 10th anniversary of Anime Evolution.
The three-day convention (June 28-30) lets audiences and industry interact directly in an informal setting. The price for a daily pass begins at $20, and a three-day pass is $50 at the door.
