IDW Brings Big Exclusives & Debuts To WonderCon 2018

IDW Publishing is returning to one of Southern California’s favorite comic convention– the one and only WonderCon! Held at the Anaheim Convention Center from March 23rd to March 25th, attendees can stop by and see the IDW crew at booth #1109 all weekend. Kick off your convention season with a show full of creator signings, announcements, panels, giveaways, and so much more!

Join IDW in welcoming the long anticipated arrival of the blue blur, Sonic The Hedgehog, at the show! Be one of the first to pick up a world premiere convention exclusive copy of Sonic #1 and get it signed by writer Ian Flynn who will have signing times all weekend long! Also available at the booth is a free limited edition preview of the highly anticipated fourth volume of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: The Tempest. Get your first look inside the exciting final volume by Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill.

The Jack Kirby Centennial celebration continues with this incredible presentation of the King’s original comic artwork.  The standing-room-only panel had to turn away fans at both San Diego and New York — and is now in Anaheim for one final encore! Hosted by IDW President and Publisher Greg Goldstein, this special tribute will feature a multi-media display of more than 1,300 pages of Kirby’s original artwork—the largest showing ever—selected from the eight Jack Kirby Artist’s Edition books IDW has published, as well as additional not-yet-published pages that will be new to fans of the books. Everyone who attends will walk away with a special gift!

 was one of the most influential artists in comic book history. His work on Swamp Thing, his Frankenstein illustrations, and myriads of classic covers, stories and illustrations were lovingly rendered by an artist who truly made each project a labor of love. Join IDW’s Chief Creative Officer Chris Ryall and Director of Special Projects Scott Dunbier as they welcome a host of guests to pay tribute and celebrate the life and art of the Great Bernie Wrightson!
The Trump Presidential Library Panel

Celebrants and detractors alike are chewing on the fact that Donald Trump was elected president. Shannon Wheeler and Robert Sikoryak will help you swallow. In their books Sh*t My President Saysand The Unquotable Trump (respectively), these two cartoonists illustrate Trump’s words for comedic effect and insight. There will be slides, a brief history of political satire, and laughter through the tears as they wrestle with an understanding of our current dystopia. Can satire keep up with reality? Shannon Wheeler is the two-time Eisner winning creator of Too Much Coffee Man and a New Yorker cartoonist. Robert Sikoryak started at Raw magazine, is a New Yorker contributor, and a Comic-Con special guest.
