Boston Comic Con has announced their initial guestlist for the 2015 convention. As always, the best and brightest stars of the comic industry. Some of the comic creators making their first Boston Con appearance are: Eduardo Risso, Humberto Ramos, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Tony Moore, Jason Latour, Joelle Jones, Steve Lieber, Annie Wu, Franco Aureliani, J. Bone, Frank Brunner, Michael Cho, Jeff Dekal, Evan Dorkin, Sara Dyer, Gerry Duggan, Mike Henderson, Mike Kunkel, John Layman, Laura Martin, Jeff Parker, Kurtis J. Wiebe, and Joshua Williamson!
Plus many guests are coming back for a return appearance like Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Stephane Roux, Frank Cho, Brian Azzarello, Amy Reeder, Don Rosa, Frank Tieri, Andy Belanger, Stephanie Buscema, CB Cebulski, Joe Prado, and Dave Johnson!
And the first media guest is Robin Lord Taylor, best known for his breakout role as The Penguin on Gotham! More guests will be announced in the coming months.
Tickets are now available for purchase. Please note that this year tickets will be sold ONLINE ONLY, there will not be any on-site ticket sales.
If you are coming in from out of town, the official Boston Comic Con hotel is the Seaport Hotel which is attached to the show venue (The Seaport World Trade Center). Colorist John Higgins appears at Rick’s Comic City on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 11:00 AM till 3:00 PM. He has worked on Watchmen, The Killing Joke, Before Watchmen, Hellblazer, The Boys, War Stories, Jonah Hex, and Judge Dredd and is the creator of Razorjack just to name few projects. He will have prints and artwork for sale.

Boston Comic Con has announced its initial details for next year’s convention! Following the phenomenal success of the 2013 show, the 2014 convention will again be held in August at the Seaport World Trade Center on Boston’s historic waterfront. The promoters have added an additional day to the convention which is scheduled to run Friday August 8th till Sunday August 10th. Joining the festivities this year is an all-star list of comic creators including: Rafael Albuquerque, Tim Bradstreet, Amanda Conner, Mike Kunkel, Jorge Molina, Dustin Nguyen, Jimmy Palmiotti, Carlos Pacheco, Ramón Pérez, Esad Ribic, Gail Simone, Cat Staggs, and many more! Additionally, the first media guests have been announced: Torchwood’s Eve Myles and Spike himself, James Marsters! When three students inadvertently create an opening into our dimension from an alternate universe known as The Twist, they become the focus for the evil death-bitch Razorjack. Maverick cops, Frame and Ross, are assigned a disturbing serial killer case which draws them into what is potentially the final battle between good and evil.
John Higgins is an English comic book artist and writer probably best known for being the colourist on Watchmen. In addition to this, he’s worked for 2000AD, including drawing for Alan Moore’s Tharg’s Future Shocks, he’s provided covers for Marvel and artwork for The Killing Joke. John has also worked on Greysuit, The Hills Have Eyes, and Jonah Hex.
