Ben McCool and Nikki Cook sign on Wednesday, January 19th at Jim Hanley’s Universe.
January 19 sees the release of Memoir #1 from Image and Jim Hanley’s Universe will be hosting co-creators Ben McCool (Choker, Captain America: Korvac Saga) and Nikki Cook (Act-I-Vate co-founder) for a signing on Wednesday, January 19 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm!
The first issue of the new series focuses on “Lowesville, a small town in the American Midwest, peaceful and quaint. But one morning the population awakens with no idea of who they are, where they are, or what’s happened. The town’s memory has been completely erased. All except for one man, and he remembers everything.”

Dan Slott signs at Jim Hanley’s Universe on November 10th at 6pm:
Our good pal Dan Slott is the new solo-writer of the now bi-weekly Spider-Man with November 10th’s Amazing Spider-Man 648, and to celebrate JHU is throwing a signing with the superstar creator!
Spidey #648 is the launch of the most significant change in Spider-Man’s direction since Slott and the Web-Heads launched Brand New Day three years ago! The new storyline, BIG TIME, starts off with double-sized bang featuring art by Humberto Ramos! Now is the time to start reading Spider-Man, and November 10 is the time to meet Dan Slott (Mighty Avengers, The Thing, and of course some of the best Spidey stories from the last three years), the new solo writer of one of the best characters and most important titles in the history of comics! (Dan’s also a pretty cool guy, if you haven’t had the thrill of meeting him!)

I think it goes without saying that writer Chris Claremont is one of the most significant comic creators of his or any generation – indeed, his groundbreaking decades-long work with the X-books in the Marvel Universe have had a profound influence on not just superhero comics, but on pop culture itself! May 2010 marks the beginning of a new age in the Marvel Universe, the Heroic Age! In celebration of this momentous event (and in celebration of our 25th Anniversary!) Jim Hanley’s Universe and Marvel Comics presents the JHU Heroic Age signing on Wednesday, May 19!
Joining us will be our good friends writers Greg Pak, Fred Van Lente, Dan Slott, and Marc Bernardin, and illustrators Paolo Rivera, Mark Morales, Reilly Brown, and Mike McKone! These are some of the biggest names in comics shaping the future of the Marvel Universe and they will be signing EXCLUSIVELY at Jim Hanley’s Universe in Manhattan on Wednesday, May 19 beginning at 6:00pm!
