Come meet the creative team behind Spectrum, the comic within the Kickstarted show Con Man at Illusive Comics & Games!

The first issue of Spectrum releases on Free Comic Book Day, May 7th. We have 300 copies of the comic for this signing.

The tickets are free, but we hope you’ll donate to Parents Helping Parents. And, if you live too far to drive, we are offering a limited amount of tickets to have a signed comic mailed to you.

FAQ:
1. How many items can I get signed? One per person.

2. Will there be a fee? No, but we will be collecting donations for Parents Helping Parents.

3. What can I get signed? Just the comic Spectrum.

4. Can I get a photo? Only a very brief one, if your camera is ready, with Alan sitting at the table.

Brian Fies signs and sketches at Illusive Comics on Wednesday, October 17th from 4:00 – 9:00pm!

Brian Fies is a writer and cartoonist whose widely acclaimed first graphic novel, Mom’s Cancer, won the Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic (the first web comic to win the award in this new category), the Lulu Booker Prize for Best Comic, the Harvey Award for Best New Talent, and the German Children’s Literature Award, among other awards and recognition. He lives in Santa Rosa, California.

Copies of both Mom’s Cancer and the new paperback version of Whatever Happened to the World of Tomorrow will be on hand to be autographed.

CA – FCBD: Alpha Girl Signing

Illusive Comics & Games is hosting Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 5th from 9am to 7pm. There will be special free comics for the public, and a huge storewide sale as part of their annual Free Comic Book Day celebration.
This is a family friendly event and admission is free and open to the public.
Titles include: The Avengers, DC Comics: The New 52, Spider-Man, Star Wars, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Transformers, Serenity, Sonic The Hedgehog, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peanuts and many more!
The creative team Alpha Girl, by Image Comics, will be on hand to sign their new hit comic. Co-Creator Jean-Paul Bonjour, co-creator and writer Jeffrey Roenning, penciller Robert Love, and inker Dana Shukartsi will be signing from 10am-2pm.
The philanthropic costuming club The 501st Legion will have seven Star Wars Storm Troopers on-hand to pose for photos and welcome kids of all ages to the world of comic books. Also on hand will be a Balloon Twister and local Illustrator, Gaz Gretsky.
A portion of profits from all activities will benefit Autism Speaks.

DC Comics’ New 52 has people talking — and heading back into comics shops! Several of the comics have sold out on the day of release, and this week, DC relaunches Batman & Robin #1.
