Our first guest is confirmed – Local artist and loyal customer Michael McElroy will be showing off his great original art.
Our second guest is confirmed – Artist and co-creator of Image’s Morning Glories – Joe Eisma. Joe has also done work for IDW and Boom Studios as well as work in video games. Joe will do torso sketches for $20 each.
Our third guest is confirmed – Local artist and creator of Wellkeeper and Dandy & Co. – Derrick Fish. Derrick will return again for the second year in the row and offer his great collection of comics and also do sketches.

George Perez signs and sketches at Heroes Landing on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from noon to 4pm!

Don’t miss a chance to meet comic artist and legend, George Perez, at Heroes Landing comic shop. George’s work includes the Avengers, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, Fantastic Four, and most recently Superman as part of DC Comics’ New 52! He is co-chairman of the comic industry charity The Hero Initiative and is involved in the Clermont Community Theatre – The Moonlight Players.
George will do quick head sketches for $20 a piece with proceeds benefiting the Moonlight Players Theatre. He will autograph items of his work for free however donations to benefit the Theatre are appreciated. The event is expected to draw large crowds and depending on time needed for the artist renderings, attendee numbers may be capped. Customers are advised to arrive early.

Heroes Landing is excited to host Fred Van Lente (writer Action Philosophers!, Incredible Hercules, Iron Man Legacy, X-Men Noir, Amazing Spider-Man, Marvel Zombies, and Cowboys & Aliens) on May 1st, Free Comic Book Day, starting at 10am. Van Lente is scheduled for the afternoon, but exact times are still being determined.
Also scheduled throughout the day are superhero appearances (Batman is confirmed), as well visits by the Orlando Ghostbusters and 501st Legion.
