UK – Action Comics/Skyward Signing

Two great artists, Lee Garbett and Jock, will be signing at the Forbidden Planet London Megastore on Wednesday 18th April from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

Lee Garbett has worked on a range of DC Comics, including Batman, Batgirl, Lucifer, Outsiders and Wonder Woman. He’s also worked for Marvel on Original Sin and Loki: Agent of Asgard.

In Skyward, gravity on earth suddenly became a fraction of what it is now. Twenty years later, humanity has adapted to its new low-gravity reality. And to Willa Fowler, a woman born just after G-day, it’s well, it’s pretty awesome, actually. You can fly through the air! I mean, sure, you can also die if you jump too high. So you just don’t jump too high. And maybe don’t stumble into a dangerous plan to bring gravity back, which could get you killed.

Jock has created storyboards and concept art for films including Hancock, Children of Men, Batman Begins, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. His comics work includes Green Arrow, Scalped, Batman, Wolverine, Constantine and Judge Dredd.

He will be there to celebrate the milestone issue of Action Comics #1000, signing the Forbidden Planet Exclusive Variant covers and Giclee Prints.
