Writer Roger Stern appears at the Castleton location of Downtown Comics at 5767 East 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Stern will meet the public and sign copies of his recent issues of Amazing Spider-Man, his novels, and collections of his many comic-book stories.
With thirty-five years of experience in the comic book industry, Stern has written hundreds of stories about such diverse characters as Superman, the Justice League, Starman, and the Atom for DC Comics, and Spider-Man, the Avengers, Ghost Rider, and Iron Man for Marvel.
He is the New York Times best-selling author of The Death and Life of Superman, and his comics stories have been collected in dozens of editions, including X-Men vs. Avengers, Essential Doctor Strange Volume 4, Darkman vs. the Army of Darkness, and Captain America: War & Remembrance. He has also written several graphic novels, including Superman: A Nation Divided, Doctor Strange & Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment, and The Incredible Hulk vs. Superman.

Celebrated comic book writer Roger Stern will appear at the Castleton location of Downtown Comics, 5767 East 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, on Wednesday, June 17, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The veteran scribe will meet the public and sign copies of his new issues of Captain America, Young Allies, and Amazing Spider-Man Family, as well as numerous collected editions of his work.
The author of the New York Times bestseller The Death and Life of Superman, Stern has written for radio, television, the stage, and the Internet, creating scripts for everything from commercials and sketch comedy to trading cards and flash-animation. He wrote The Incredible Hulk vs. Superman, Doctor Strange & Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment, and Superman: A Nation Divided.
