TOYS ON THE HUDSON IN TWO MONTHS
“Toys On The Hudson”… The promoters of This Year’s Thanksgiving Weekend Big Event want you to know that the show is not just about “TOYS” but a total collector’s event Fun Packed for the entire family. There will be up to 150 tables of Vintage and Current hard to find Toys, Comics, Movie Memorabilia, Disney, Anime, Small Antiques, Action Figures, Tin, Sports & Non-Sports, Barbie, Original Art, Monster Stuff and Collectibles of all genres covering the entire 18,000 square foot second floor.
Many Celebrities have signed on including cast members from Ghost Hunters, The Warriors and Survivor with surprise celebrities being added weekly. There will be photo ops with The Batmobile, Joker & Riddler, Star Wars, Wedjait and other costumed characters. Several film makers will be on board showcasing their films and perhaps looking for new talent. Kids will meet Michael “The Pizza Boss” the seven year old national talent who will teach them how to toss pizza. The entire Grand Ballroom has been transformed into a Comic Collectors dream with over 50 tables of Comics and Related merchandise. Many of the best know Comic Artists, Writers and Authors have signed on and will be releasing “Special Show Firsts” as will several Toy Manufacturers and Sculptors. Attendees can bring a toy or collectible and have it appraised by one of the many appraisers on board. Dave & Lee of Dead Dave’s Radio station will be on hand broadcasting live. Our dealer’s come from far and wide and will showcase merchandise on up to 150 tables that is affordable to all. For the “serious-must have first” collector the show opens Black Friday Evening at 5PM with a special “Shop While The Dealer’s Set Up” buying event. The show will be supporting several charities: Autism Speaks, Superheroes for Hospice, RLSH Food Collection by WEDJAT, Freedom Powers To The Rescue, and Animal Humane Societies. The three day event starts on Black Friday 11/23 at 5PM and runs till Sunday Evening 11/25 at 5PM at the Westin Newport Hotel, on the banks of the Hudson River, adjacent to the million square foot Newport Mall, 495 Washington Blvd Jersey City NJ 07310. Hotel is accessible from PATH, NYC and all NJ public transit. Parking adjacent to hotel and is validated by some local restaurants.

NEW YORK and COLUMBUS, Ohio, August 23, 2011 – North America’s largest pop-culture tour continues at Wizard World Mid-Ohio Comic Con at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, October 22-23, with standout guests James Marsters, Billy Dee Williams, Adam West, Burt Ward, Claudia Christian and Walter Koenig headlining the list of celebrity attendees. The event will bring together thousands of fans of all ages and dozens of celebrities and industry professionals to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, sci-fi, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more.
Williams (STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, BRIAN’S SONG) will appear on Saturday, while Marsters (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “Caprica”), West (“Batman,” “Family Guy”), Ward (“Batman”), Christian (“Look,” “Babylon 5”) and Koenig (“Star Trek,” “Babylon 5”) are scheduled for both days.
The lineup of superstar artists at Wizard World Mid-Ohio Comic Con is impressive, with Jeff Smith (“BONE,” “RASL”), Pasqual Ferry (“Thor; Ultimate Fantastic Four,” “Ultimate X-Men vs Fantastic Four”), Mike Grell (“Green Arrow,” “Green Lantern”), Rob Liefeld(“Deadpool,” “Youngblood”), Greg Horn (“Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark,” “Hero For Hire”),Phil Jimenez (“Amazing Spider-Man,” “Astonishing X-Men”), Bill Sienkiewicz (“Elektra: Assassin,” “Moon Knight”), Michael Golden (“Batman,” “Spider-Man”), Arthur Suydam(“Marvel Zombies,” “Army of Darkness”), Mark Texeira (“Wolverine,” “Spider-Man”) and Ryan Ottley (“Invincible,” “The Walking Dead”) at the head.

Event-goers may also try their hand interactive product exhibits and shop for collectible comics, movie and television memorabilia, toys and games at scores of dealer booths.
Mid-Ohio Comic Con is the eighth stop on Wizard World’s 2011 North American tour. Hours are Saturday, October 22, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; and Sunday, October 23, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tickets are available in advance online at http://www.wizardworld.com/midohio.html at a savings over tickets purchased at the door. Advance adult single-day tickets are priced at $25 ($35 on site); weekend all-session tickets are $40 ($50 on site), and tickets are free for children age 10 and under when accompanied by a paid adult (limit two children per adult). VIP packages with special entry and exclusive items are also available on a limited basis.
