OR – Reunion Signing

kltfaw

Press Release:

Things From Another World is proud to introduce local writer Ken Lizzi at a special pre-release signing of his new, Portland-set sci-fi novel from Twilight Times Books, Reunion, June 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Portland TFAW! Free food and beer provided (must be 21+ with valid ID for beer).

Sometimes survival is not enough. Sometimes you need to fight back. The apocalypse ended Nick Gates’ night shift as a Portland cop. Finding his wife alive was a good break. Assembling a guerrilla resistance against occupiers from another Earth, however, didn’t work out so well. But an escapee from an enemy stronghold, bearing with him the possibility of reversing the “reunion,” brought hope. It will take all of Nick’s courage, luck, and skill if he–and humanity–is to survive Reunion!

“In the event of an apocalypse, loot thoughtfully,” said Ken, offering sage advice. “You may only get one chance.”

Ken Lizzi is an attorney at Dark Horse Comics and the author of an assortment of published short stories, in addition to Reunion. When not traveling, he lives in Portland, Oregon with his lovely wife Isa. He enjoys reading, homebrewing, exercise, and visiting new places. Make sure to stop by the Portland TFAW June 4, meet Ken, and purchase a special pre-release promo copy of Reunion for $17.95!
