Join Alan and Erin for a Q&A session with all the creators! We’ll have some basic questions to get the conversation started, and then we’ll be taking questions directly from you, the audience!

8 PM Creator Signings

Get your books signed, pick up some plushies, get a sketch, or just chat with your favorite comic artist! We’ll have plenty of extra stuff on hand for you to pick up if you don’t have anything to get signed, and this will also be your best chance to pick up some of the harder to find volumes from these guys!

WV – Girls with Slingshots Exhibition

Danielle Corsetto, creator of Girls with Slingshots, opens a gallery exhibition at Shepherd University’s Frank Center Gallery on Monday October 1, 2012. An alumna of the university, Corsetto will conduct an artist’s talk from 5:00-6:00pm with a reception to immediately follow from 6:00-8:00pm. Corsetto says on her blog, “If you’ve missed out on panels at conventions before (or never been to a convention at all), this would be a great opportunity for you to ask me about webcomics.”

Team Cul de Sac: Cartoonists Draw the Line at Parkinson’s contains original artwork from car…toonists and illustrators inspired by Richard Thompson’s comic strip Cul de Sac, including Bill Watterson (Calvin and Hobbes) and Garry Trudeau (Doonesbury). The originals were sold at an online auction, which raised $47,000, for Team Cul de Sac, which is part of the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Danielle says on her blog: The Rochester get-together – at the same Boulder Coffee as always – is fairly impromptu and casual, as I haven’t even really, uh, heard back from the manager yet. Heh. :)

Let’s just say I’ll be there no matter what, and as long as they allow me to sell stuff, I’ll have all five books and will be drawing along with anyone who brings a sketchbook. Either way, I’ll probably draw shit for you if you ask real nice – that I know I’m allowed to do!
