Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter films) and Daniel Cudmore (X-Men and Twilight films) are both available for Photo and Signature opportunities on Saturday Only, while Jake Lloyd (Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace) is available the entire weekend. Each signature ticket purchased will allow you to get one item signed, and if you purchase a photograph you may bring up to 3 of your friends or family for the photograph – however only one photo will be printed for the ticket holder.     Colossus Smashes into Big Wow! ComicFest 2015

    Actor Daniel Cudmore (X-Men, Twilight) appears at Big Wow! ComicFest on Saturday April 18th!

    Born in Vancouver and raised in Squamish, British Columbia, Daniel grew up in an athletic household. Daniel’s breakout role came shortly after he made the transition from college star to actor, when Bryan Singer cast him alongside Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Sir Ian Mckellen, and Halle Berry in the 2003 superhero film X2, as Colossus, the strongest member of the X-Men team. Daniel’s character was brought back in the film’s sequel X-Men: The Last Stand. He has since showcased his extraordinary talents on numerous television shows including “Stargate SG-1,” “Supernatural,” and “Psych.” However, it is Daniel’s role as Felix in the popular Summit Entertainment film franchise The Twilight Saga that has given this actor international recognition.

    Indiana Comic Con Donates 100 Tickets to Big Brothers Big Sisters

    February 21st, 2014 – The Indiana Comic Con has donated approximately 120 tickets to Indiana charitable organizations. The inaugural Indiana Comic Con will debut on March 14-16, 2014 at the Indianapolis Convention Center.

    Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana is recipient of 100 tickets to the Indiana Comic Con. This organization plays a major role in bettering the community by directly helping, mentoring and guiding disadvantaged children. By providing a strong and professional, 1-on-1 relationship for children, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana directly improves the community of central Indiana by investing in the youth of central Indiana.

    The National MS Foundation: Indiana State Chapter by way of an affiliated group called, “The Bearded Avengers” is recipient of 20 tickets to the Indiana Comic Con. The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation works to find a cure to the ailment that ultimately prevents human movement and function through traumatic nerve damage in the brain and spinal cord.

    Featured at the inaugural Indiana Comic Con are roughly 20 critically-acclaimed creators (writers and illustrators) from the field of comic book publication and fantasy painting. In addition, popular actors and actresses will be in attendance: Evan Peters (American Horror Story, X-Men), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Caity Lotz (Arrow, Mad Men) and Daniel Cudmore (X-Men, Twilight). 150 vendors, local writers, artists and publishers will also be featured at the event.

    First Appearance in Texas in over 20 years!

    Dallas, Tx— Everything IS bigger in Texas!…Or so they say, and considering the line-up at this month’s Dallas ComiCon, we sure can’t deny that old adage–especially since artist/creator Michael Golden is heading to the Lone Star state for his first appearance there in OVER 20 years.

    Scheduled for January 30-31 at the Richardson Civic Center, The Dallas ComiCon is fast becoming a true destination for fans of comics, movies, media and more!

    “I am also very happy to be returning to my home state and bringing Michael with me,” says Renee Witterstaetter of Eva Ink Publishing. “We’re looking forward to showing some new items at the event and meeting some new fans and friends. I should even have a preview copy of Michael’s new sketchbook, ‘MORE Heroes and Villains.’ ”

    With recent work on “Spiderman,” “Hulk,” and new pieces coming for “Planet of the Apes,” “Mouse Templar,” and much more, Michael has long been known for his storytelling work on “Spartan X,” “Bucky O’Hare,” “The ‘Nam,” “Micronauts,” “G.I. Joe,” “Doctor Strange,” “Star Wars,”….the list goes on and on! In fact, be looking for announcements about his upcoming storytelling class in the near future–in a city near you.

    “I’m designing this course to be relevant for writers, artists or anyone interested in crafting an effective tale,” says Golden about the upcoming workshop.

    To mark his return to Texas in the meantime, Golden will be available both days of the show to sign, and do limited sketching during convention hours. He’ll also be debuting three new art prints added to his portfolio just in time for DCC, as well as showcasing two art books “Excess: The Art of Michael Golden,” from Vanguard Productions and “Michael Goldens: Heroes and Villains” sketchbook from Eva Ink Publishing.
