Artist DAN PARSONS signs at Knowhere Games and Comics on Thursday, March 30th at 5:00 PM.
Dan Parsons is perhaps known best for his work on Star Wars, Game of Thrones, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. He was the inker on countless classic Star Wars tales like Star Wars, Star Wars: Republic, Star Wars: Legacy, Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Rebel Heist, and more!
If you own Game of Thrones on Blu-ray or DVD you’ve also likely seen his artwork as part of the Histories of Westeros, so don’t forget to bring your copy of Season1 to get it signed!
Dan also provided the artwork for Avatar Legacy, the amazing autobiography of Avatar Aang that continues the tale of his reign as Avatar after the Last Airbender cartoon series ended.
If you’re a fan of DC’s Hawkman, Dick Grayson, or Barbara Gordon then you’ll hopefully have picked up DC’s Convergence: Nightwing & Oracle which featured the marriage of two iconic DC characters as inked by Dan!
But that isn’t all Dan has done in the way of art, having pencilled, written, and worked on Harpy, Savage Planet, Sexy Angel, Cthulhu Tales, Strange Kisses, Razor, First Wave, and Empire of the Wolf!

In the late 1970s and early ’80s, some of the most inventive and inspired alternative comics found a place on shelves. ElfQuest offered a unique vision of black and white fantasy, while Nexus gave readers a version of the superhero idea more rooted in science fiction than capes and cowls. Meanwhile, Groo the Wanderer took a humorous take on the sword and sorcery genre, popularized by the likes of Conan the Barbarian in the previous decade. Over 30 years later, we pay tribute to some of comics’ longest-running ongoing collaborations for a discussion with the creators themselves! Join Richard and Wendy Pini (ElfQuest), Mike Baron (Nexus), and Mark Evanier (Groo) as they share the secrets to the success of a few of comics’ most revered story lines!
