  • Tampa Welcomes Claremont, Rubinstein, & Pelletier Sunday

    Legendary X-Men writer Chris Claremont and artists Joe Rubinstein (Green Arrow/Black Canary) and Paul Pelletier (Marvel’s War of Kings) are among the featured creators for the latest edition of the thrice-annual Tampa Comic Book and Toy Convention.

    Taking place this Sunday, July 12th, in Largo, Florida, additional guests include Sergio Cariello (Lone Ranger), Chuck Dixon (G.I. Joe), Comics Legends Dick Giordano and Fran Matera, plus Don Hillsman II, Austin Janowsky, Bill Black, Chuck Majewski, Jesse Starr, and Greg Andrews.

    Media guests and models include Joel D. Wynkoop, Amanda Stevens, Jessica Nova, and Page Turner. Author Glenda Finkelstein will also be on hand as well as local fan groups Heroes Alliance and Ghostbusters.

    CGC will be available, and the show will feature a Transformers Panel sponsored by Toys R Us, a costume contest, and a film festival.
