Gregg Schigiel (rhymes with eagle) is the writer and illustrator of the PIX graphic novels from Image Comics, a regular contributor to SPONGEBOB COMICS, and has illustrated a litany of licensed character coloring, story, and chapter books. In addition to his work as a cartoonist, he produces and hosts the comics-centric podcast “Stuff Said”, and produces and co-hosts (with Chris Giarrusso) the Tom Cruise movie-centric podcast “Cruisin’ Together.” He likes doughnuts, enjoys comedy, and makes sure he drinks plenty of water. Chris Giarrusso is the author and illustrator of the G-MAN superhero graphic novel series for younger readers, THE G-MAN SUPER JOURNAL diary series, and the G-MAN WEBCOMICS comic strip. Chris Giarrusso is the Harvey award-nominated artist and writer best known for creating, writing, and drawing G-MAN, a series of graphic novels loved by all ages. His newest book, THE G-MAN SUPER JOURNAL, is an illustrated prose novel “written” and “illustrated” by G-Man himself! Other work includes the MINI MARVELS for Marvel Comics, various variant covers for Image Comics, and the TALES FROM THE CON webcomic for Emerald City Comicon.

Chris will be accepting commissions at the store on the 28th that will be available for pick-up the next day at Oak City Comic Show.

Connecticut ComiCONN adds more Comic Legends to 3 Day Event!

Connecticut ComiCONN celebrates its 5th annual event with a move to the Webster Bank Arena and expands to a 3-Day event!

To meet the demands of its’ ever-growing fan base, Connecticut ComiCONN (a.k.a. ComiCONN) has moved to a larger venue and added additional days to its con to be held August 15-17 at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT.

ComiCONN has been providing fans of comic books, collectibles and cosplay an event to come out and celebrate their passion for years and is the Nutmeg State’s largest event of its kind. “ComiCONN has always been called “a show for the fans by the fans”, said ComiCONN organizer, Mitch Hallock, “For that reason we are assembling three days saluting the glory of comics with some of their greatest creators”.
