Janet Varney (voice of Korra) is a comedian, actor, writer and producer known for her roles as Becca on FX’s You’re the Worst and as the host of TBS’s Dinner and a Movie. She is also known in San Francisco as the founder of the annual comedy festival San Francisco Sketchfest.
John Michael Higgins (voice of Varrick) is an actor and voice actor whose credits include Christopher Guest’s mockumentaries, Pitch Perfect, Yes Man, Bad Teacher, and many other films and television shows.
Mindy Sterling (voice of Lin Beifong) is known for her role as Frau Farbissina in the Austin Powers films as well as roles in Con Man, Legit, Chowder, iCarly and Disney Channel’s A.N.T. Farm.
Dante Basco (voice of Zuko and General Iroh) is known for his role as Rufio in the 1991 film Hook. He was also the voice of Jake Long in the Disney series American Dragon: Jake Long.
Dan Parsons (illustrator of Avatar: Legacy) is an illustrator and comic book artist who is best known for his work on Star Wars comics and Game of Thrones.
Andrew Farago (moderator) is the curator of the Cartoon Art Museum and the author of many books on cartooning including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Visual History.

Actor Jeremy Shada appears at Forbidden Planet’s London Megastore for a special ADVENTURE TIME signing featuring the Adventure Time Encyclopaedia on Monday 30th December from 3 – 4pm.
The voice of young adventurer FINN from Cartoon Network’s hugely popular, BAFTA-winning animated series ADVENTURE TIME, Jeremy Shada has been living and working in Los Angeles since the age of five. Past television series include Cartoon Network’s Incredible Crew, Shark, Stacked, The Loup, Good Girls Don’t, Nip/Tuck, Ghost Whisperer, ER, Parenthood, Cold Case, and Lost. He’s also worked on Team America, Batman the Brave and the Bold, Chowder, Super Crazies, Penguins of Madagascar, My Neighbours the Yamadas, and Bambi.
Written and compiled by Martin Olson, the voice actor who portrays the Lord of Evil himself, The Adventure Time Encyclopaedia matches the playful and thoughtful tone of the series, detailing everything anyone will ever need to know about the land of Ooo and its colorful inhabitants. The Adventure Time Encyclopaedia also features spells, fun places to visit in Ooo, how to make friends and how to avoid your enemies. There’s also hand-written marginalia by Finn, Jake, and Marceline.
Created in conjunction with Cartoon Network Enterprises, the book also features original illustrations by Renee French, Tony Millionaire, Celeste Moreno, Aisleen Romano, and Mahendra Singh, and was designed by Sean Tejaratchi, with original content from the show’s creator, Pendleton Ward.

John DiMaggio screens his new voice acting documentary “I Know That Voice” at the National Press Club on Friday November 8, 2013 at 6:00 PM!

The National Press Club will host the East Coast premiere of the voice acting documentary I Know That Voice on Friday, November 8, at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Rooms. The film’s executive producer, Annie Award-winning and Emmy-nominated voice actor John DiMaggio, will be on hand to introduce the film and answer questions after the screening, followed by a meet-and-greet and signing. DiMaggio is known for voices such as Bender in Futurama; Jake the Dog in Adventure Time; Marcus Fenix in Gears of War; Rico in The Penguins of Madagascar; Dr. Drakken in Kim Possible; and Schnitzel in Chowder.
I Know That Voice explores every aspect of the voice acting profession, and showcases some of the most talented, versatile, and hard-working members of the entertainment industry. It features interviews with more than 150 top voice actors, casting and voice directors, show creators, producers, voice teachers, and other animation industry luminaries.
