Every second Saturday the Schulz Museum hosts a new Cartoonist-in-Residence! This month meet, watch, and talk to Matt Whitlock, who currently draws cartoons for The Fairly Odd Parents TV show, which airs daily on Nickelodeon. Whitlock has also drawn for Disney’s Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, and Tarzan and has written and illustrated several of his own children’s books including Bionic Butterfly.

Join Rob Rogers, the award-winning, nationally-syndicated cartoonist from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and learn to create your own editorial cartoons on SATURDAY, JUNE 26 from 1–3pm. Rogers will help children and adults choose a topic, message, and metaphor, and draw and develop their own cartoon. After the workshop, Rogers will speak with visitors and sign his new book, No Cartoon Left Behind: The Best of Rob Rogers. No reservations required for the workshop.

Keith Knight appears at the Schulz Museum on Saturday April 17th.

Harvey and Glyph Award-winning cartoonist Keith Knight explores the business side of indie cartooning, including self-publishing, syndication vs. self-syndication, being a web cartoonist, and more from 10-11:30am. Knight’s comics, which include the Knight Life, K Chronicles, and (Th)ink, are read world-wide and have been collected in eight books.

The always-entertaining Keith Knight will sign books and talk with visitors from 1-3pm.

Every second Saturday the Schulz Museum hosts a new Cartoonist-in-Residence! Meet, watch, and talk to Scott Kurtz. Kurtz has been creating comics since age 9. His current on-line comic, Player Vs. Player (PVP), has been appearing daily since 1998 and has a following of over 150,000 readers a day. PVP won the 2006 Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic.

Fies’ first graphic novel, Mom’s Cancer, won the comic industry’s 2005 Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic, a new category that year. His second book, Whatever Happened to the World of Tomorrow?, was released in 2009.

Every second Saturday the Schulz Museum hosts a new Cartoonist-in-Residence! Meet, watch and talk to Rabbits Against Magic creator Jonathan Lemon. Having worked as a character animator for videogames, Lemon started cartooning in 1997 with a strip called Bigshot. He is currently the editorial cartoonist for HybridCars.com. Rabbits Against Magic is his latest comic strip project. He has won several awards for his art including two Zap Awards and a South East Arts Award.
