July 9th, 2010 – Los Angeles, CA – BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Mark Waid invites all Comic-Con attendees to the BOOM! Studios 5 Year Anniversary Drink Up* taking place at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Odysea Bar, Thursday July 22nd from 9pm to ??? during Comic-Con International 2010 in San Diego, California.

Come help celebrate another year of BOOM!’s explosive growth with Mark Waid, Ross Richie, Matt Gagnon, Chip Mosher and the rest of the BOOM! Crew with various BOOM! creators in attendance for a night of relaxed fun.

This is an open invitation event. No RSVP needed. No tickets required.

Stan Lee appears on Thursday, July 22 from 6 to 9 PM at the Chuck Jones Gallery–San Diego (in the heart of the GasLamp District–232 Fifth Avenue)

Joining Mr. Lee is his protégé and collaborator Anthony Winn. Mr. Winn’s work not only with Stan Lee, but also independently, has wowed critics and comic book fans alike. Join Chuck Jones Gallery as they present his most recent original and limited edition work on canvas and paper!

Internationally renowned Acrobat and Cirque du Soleil performer, Felix Cane, will be performing during the reception.

Mr. Lee and Mr. Winn will be dedicating artwork the night of the event.*
