Craig Rousseau Donates Art to Fight Cancer

Artist Craig Rousseau (co-creator of The Perhapanauts and penciller on titles including Captain America, Iron Man, and Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane) is raising money to fight cancer by donating comics and art! On August 6, 2011 he is participating in this year’s Pan-Mass Challenge, a two-day, 84 mile bike-a-thon from Wellesley to Bourne which raises money for the Jimmy Fund and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Craig writes on his blog, “Simply put, cancer sucks… and I’m hoping you can help me raise money to fight it.”

Craig is offering several incentives for donating to the cause. He says, “Since I don’t work in an office or have a “real” job with fellow employees, I’m asking YOU to help me raise that money and make a donation. But one of the perks of MY job is the stuff I make… and I figure, if you can help me out, I’d like to return the favor.”

-every donation made gets you a free, signed comic.

-any donation over $25 gets you an EXCLUSIVE free Choopie print (still in the works, but that’s the prelim above)

-any donation of $50 gets a free head sketch (your choice)

-any donation of $100 or more gets a free full figure b/w sketch (your choice)…

-and $150 or more gets you the free sketch AND a page from a recent Marvel project (my pick)

His goal is to raise $5,000. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a good cause and get some great art as well. To donate, please click the link to Craig’s rider profile!
