    About This Convention
    The Jersey Shore Comic Book Show will be holding another great show at the Toms River Elks Lodge, 600 Washington Street in Toms River, NJ on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 10am to 4pm.

    We will be featuring over 20 guest artists, writers and creators of comics. Some of the artists we will be featuring are Alexander Simmons, Rusty Gilligan, Bob Petrecca, Joe DelBeato, Howard Bender and Eric Cooper, just to name a few. Also on hand will be a variety of vendors offering up comics from the Golden Age to Present, as well as Toys, Non-Sport Trading Cards, Action Figures, T-Shirts, Comic Crafts, Collectibles and More!!

    Back by popular demand and joining us again will be the 501st Legion, a huge Star War Costume Group that allows people to interact with them and even battle it our with Storm Troopers (and even Darth Vader himself!) with their ever popular “Blast a Trooper” game. They are a wonderful group and involved in Children’s Charities and all monies collected at shows goes towards this Charity. Another great group joining us again is the North Jersey Ghostbusters. And….of course MAC the famous cat from the comic book, “Mac and Trouble” based on the real life pets owned by artist Rusty Gilligan will be on hand again handing out goodies and posing for photos, so don’t forget to bring your camera!!

    Since this show is just two days before St. Patrick’s Day, we will be celebrating the “Wearin’ of the Green” and holding a Leprechaun contest opened to Adults and Children, with prizes for the best Leprechaun. Cosplay Contest for Adults and Children will be held also. There will also be drawings thru-out the day for some great prizes and $how Cash, which can be used for purchases at the show.

    About This Convention
    The Jersey Shore Comic Book Show will be hosting another show on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Toms River Elks Club, 600 Washington Street Toms River, New Jersey for what promises to be yet another GREAT show for everyone attending.
    Once again we will be featuring our “Artist Lounge” with over 20 Comic Artists, Writers, and Creators showing off their great and unique work, as well as offering them up for purchase to attendees. We will also be having new faces joining us this time, Joe DelBeato, Dave Ryan and Joe Martino.
    We will also be having not one, not two, but THREE huge cosplay/costume groups joining us for our November Show. THE NORTH JERSEY GHOSTBUSTERS, THE 501ST LEGION ( get ready to battle it out with the Storm Troopers! ) and the U.S.S. IWO JIMA INDEPENDENT STAR TREK GROUP.
    Also making his debut, will be “MAC” the famous cat from Rusty Gilligan’s comic strip about his pets, “Mac and Trouble.” MAC will be on hand for photo’s and will be handing out goodies and tickets for a surprise raffle drawing for some great prizes!
    AND…parents, Don’t Forget to Bring the KIDS!! Why?? Because SANTA arrives at 1pm with goodies for everyone!!!!Drawings for Door Prizes will be held thru-out the day with some great prizes and our popular $how Ca$h !

    Web of Spider-Man Annual 3It is the return of the Philadelphia Comic-Con on Sunday March 16th.  This comic book convention is held at the Clarion Hotel (formerly the Ramada) located at 76 Industrial Highway (Route 291) in Essington, PA 19029.  The hotel is conveniently located off of exit 9A on I-95.  It is also close to I-76,I-476 and most bridges from New Jersey.  Show hours are 10 AM to 4 PM.  Admission is only $3 per person.  Students of any age (including college) are admitted free with a current id.   Parking is also free on premises.  For those of you that do not drive Septa Bus Route 37 stops directly in front of the hotel.

    It is quite a site to behold with 60+ tables at the show in the 4,500 square foot ballroom of the hotel.  Dealers from 5 states setup there selling, buying and even trading with collectors. Thousands and thousands of comic books from the 1940’s to present day will be for sale at the show.  Also available will be collecting supplies, graphic novels, action figures, statues, non-sportcards, dvd’s and original artwork.  The show has become a fan favorite for years with people travelling up to 3 hours one way just to shop at the show.

    Special guest artists are Greg Larocque and Bob Petrecca.  Both artists have long and illustrious careers in the field working for both DC and Marvel Comics.

    Special guest artists are Bob Petrecca who was worked on various titles for DC Comics including Batman.  Sketch card artist Laura Inglis, self publishers Michael Mills and Angela McKendrick round out the guest list.
