Boston Comic Con has announced their initial guestlist for the 2015 convention. As always, the best and brightest stars of the comic industry. Some of the comic creators making their first Boston Con appearance are: Eduardo Risso, Humberto Ramos, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Tony Moore, Jason Latour, Joelle Jones, Steve Lieber, Annie Wu, Franco Aureliani, J. Bone, Frank Brunner, Michael Cho, Jeff Dekal, Evan Dorkin, Sara Dyer, Gerry Duggan, Mike Henderson, Mike Kunkel, John Layman, Laura Martin, Jeff Parker, Kurtis J. Wiebe, and Joshua Williamson!
Plus many guests are coming back for a return appearance like Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Stephane Roux, Frank Cho, Brian Azzarello, Amy Reeder, Don Rosa, Frank Tieri, Andy Belanger, Stephanie Buscema, CB Cebulski, Joe Prado, and Dave Johnson!
And the first media guest is Robin Lord Taylor, best known for his breakout role as The Penguin on Gotham! More guests will be announced in the coming months.

If you are coming in from out of town, the official Boston Comic Con hotel is the Seaport Hotel which is attached to the show venue (The Seaport World Trade Center). Hero Initiative is a non-profit organization that assists comics creators in medical and financial need. Prospective members of Hero Initiative can sign up with a minimum contribution of $29. Every new member will receive a FREE sketch from their artist of choice, but get there early!

Boston Comic Con has announced its initial details for next year’s convention! Following the phenomenal success of the 2013 show, the 2014 convention will again be held in August at the Seaport World Trade Center on Boston’s historic waterfront. The promoters have added an additional day to the convention which is scheduled to run Friday August 8th till Sunday August 10th. Joining the festivities this year is an all-star list of comic creators including: Rafael Albuquerque, Tim Bradstreet, Amanda Conner, Mike Kunkel, Jorge Molina, Dustin Nguyen, Jimmy Palmiotti, Carlos Pacheco, Ramón Pérez, Esad Ribic, Gail Simone, Cat Staggs, and many more! Additionally, the first media guests have been announced: Torchwood’s Eve Myles and Spike himself, James Marsters! A percentage of every purchase you make as a registered Hero Initiative Ralphs Club member will go directly to this great charity organization.
In addition to the creators, we’ll have:
– Spider-Man in costume – Everyone’s favorite costumed character, who is our frequent guest for Free Comic Book Day, has promised to swing by and take photos with the kids.
– Prizes for any kids who come to the event wearing comic book-related costumes.
– All kinds of snacks and beverages for the kids.
