Great Comic Book Adventure at New Jersey Six Flags May 29th

The Great Comic Book Adventure-the first comicon ever held at Six Flags Great Adventure-will be taking place this Sunday, May 29th from 10:30-8:00.

The costume contest has been canceled (Please do NOT come in costume), The events scheduled so far include:
12:00 “Comic Book School” with writer and publisher Buddy Scalera-Find out how a comic book is created from start to finish.
1:00 Chuck Rozanski-the owner of Mile High Comics and largest comic book dealer in the world will tell the incredible story of how he found the most valuable comic book collection ever… followed by a Q&A.
2:00 A “no minimum bid” auction to benefit The Childrens’ Miracle Network. Great deals for a great cause.
3:00 Find out what it’s like to be the only blind comic book dealer in the world when we interview Adam Cerniglia.
4:00 What’s a “Web Comic”? Danielle O’Brien and Bill Ellis, the creators of “All New Issues” will tell you!
Artists including Neal Adams, Irwin Hasen, Sean Chen, Lee Weeks, Daxiong, Doug Baron and Glenn Whitmore will be available at various times throughout the day for signing and sketching. (Additional events including some of these creators may be added during the course of the day as their comfort levels and customer activity allows.)

| The Great Allentown Comic Returns Saturday October 30th! Come Dig up great savings and have a spooktacular time!
Saturday, October 30th, 10am-4pm We have over 75 Dealer tables available, with comics from the Silver Age to New releases, Action Figures, Cards, and Clothing and Much More! A fun-filled day for eveyone, with hourly Door Prizes, a No-Minimum Bid Auction at 2pm, and Costume Contests and Prizes! Special Guests: Nick Mockoviak – Nick is a freelance illustrator. His talents have been put to good use as an artist on the “Night of the Living Dead: Re-Animated” project as well as being featured in the Drawgasmic Underground Artists Art Show. Currently he is developing a comic book that will see the light of day at the end of 2010, so be on the look-out! Shawn Alleyne – Shawn was born and raised on the island of Barbados but later moved and set up in Philadelphia. From an early age he knew he wanted to be involved with art in some capacity and is currently working as a freelance artist, with many clients ranging from the field of comics, to music and film. Shawn is setting up a studio by the name of PYROGLYPHICS, a stylistic name that translates to “Hot Images”, to reflect his self-taught style. John Kovaleski – John is the creator of the comic strip Bo Nanas and a contributor to MAD Magazine, making him one of the usual gang of idiots. His humorous scribblings have adorned magazines, Bill Ellis – All New Issues is a web comic by Bill Ellis. The strip is a humorous look at relationships, being poor, the comic book retailing industry, gaming, and much more through the eyes of some, to put it kindly, flawed individuals. Publishers/Industry Professionals: The Ultimate Comics Group – NJ Based Ultimate Comics Group, LLC. (www.ultimatecomicsgroup.com) has been publishing amazing FULL COLOR comics since 2005. With 4 comics for sale and a full length Mature Audience Novel, UCG will have something exciting for ALL AUDIENCES! Mytron Comics – Mytron Comics was formed in November 2009 by Victoria Conrad and Corey Conrad. We are based out of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Our first series, Livid Outbreak, was launched in January 2010. Currently, we have 3 issues online and were happy to see a good number of people checking it out.
