Earth’s magic once belonged to them. Now they want the magic back. But who exactly are they? It’s up to the new Justice League Dark to find out and stop this nightmarish new threat at all costs! After the events of Justice League: No Justice, team leader Wonder Woman guides the misfit magic mix of Zatanna, Swamp Thing, Man-Bat and Detective Chimp against enemies too fantastic even for the Justice League. Plus, what awful things are coming through the Tree of Wonder? Dark days ahead in the pages of Justice League Dark, from writer James Tynion IV and artist Alvaro Martinez!

UK – Batman/TMNT Signing

Writer James Tynion IV signs Batman: The Rebirth Deluxe Collection and Batman/TMNT at the Forbidden Planet London Megastore on Sunday 29th April from 1:00 – 2:00 PM!

Collecting Batman: Detective Comics #934 – #949, the Rebirth Deluxe Collection begins when an elite fighting force modelled after the Dark Knight invades the city. In response, Batman assembles a team of his own: Batwoman, Tim Drake, Spoiler, Orphan and Clayface.

Then, a mysterious villain called First Victim appears and launches an assault on Batman and his team, forcing them to fight an enemy they know nothing about, who seems to have the support of an entire network of strange new foes!

Batman/TMNT collects the sold-out smash-hit miniseries in paperback! It all starts in Gotham City, as a series of deadly raids leads Batman to believe he is up against a group of highly trained ninjas.

Somehow, the Foot Clan has crossed over to another dimension-but they haven’t come alone: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are on their trail!

OR – The Art of Colorists Group Exhibit

Press Release:

Sequential Art Gallery + Studio is proud to present a collaborative group show featuring the work of comic book color artists known as colorists. The exhibit consists of original artwork and examples of the colorists’ industry work. The exhibition begins with an artist’s reception from 6pm-10pm on opening night, Thursday, December 7, 2017, and will be available for viewing throughout December.

In the simplest of descriptions, a colorist is responsible for adding color to black-and-white comic book art. Over the years the medium of comics has evolved, and so have the skills of color artists. As the work of colorists has become an increasingly dynamic component, their recognition by the industry and their peers has increased. It’s our hope to further that recognition by working with several colorists for this installation.

Among the color artists participating in the show are Lesley Atlansky (Short Order Crooks, Kid Sherlock), Jeremy Colwell (Batman/TMNT, Wonder Woman Rebirth), Jeromy Cox (DMZ, Promethea), Kelly Fitzpatrick (Archie, Bitch Planet, DC Bombshells), Adam Guzowski (Nailbiter, TMNT), Sloane Leong (From Under Mountains, Change), Steve Oliff (Akira), and Rico Renzi (Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Spider-Gwen). The exhibit is organized by Fitzpatrick, Atlansky, and Marissa Louise.

The colorists’ group exhibit will be on display the entire month of December. The gallery is open for viewing Mondays 2pm-6pm, Saturdays 11am-5pm, and by appointment. The exhibit closes on Saturday, December 30th, at the end of business.
