Press Release:

Tyrus Wong, who recently passed away at the age of 106, was a prolific and multi-talented artist – a painter, designer, lithographer, muralist, and kitemaker. Tyrus worked for many years in Hollywood as a film production illustrator, first for The Walt Disney Studios under Walt’s direction, and later for the Warner Brothers Studio. He is well-known for his key role as the lead artist on Disney’s 1942 classic, Bambi.
