Dash Shaw’s new graphic novel, New School (Fantagraphics) dramatizes the story of a boy moving to an exotic country and his infatuation with an unfamiliar culture that quickly shifts to disillusionment.
Tim Kreider’s collection of essays and cartoons, We Learn Nothing, will be released in paperback by Simon & Schuster.
Dash will be showing and discussing his work as well as presenting several of his short animations.
Tim will be showing and discussing his cartoons as well as reading and talking about his essays.

The internationally renowned chef, author, and television host will visit the Hippodrome Theatre for one night only, Saturday, November 17 at 8:00pm. Bourdain will spend the evening sharing candid, often hysterical insights about his life’s work and travels, including an open question and answer session with the audience.
