Spike Jonze speaks on Oct 12th
USA Today’s Whitney Matheson posted this on her blog:
I’ve had the hardest time keeping an upcoming event to myself. After you hear about it, you’ll understand why.
Next week I’ll be interviewing director Spike Jonze and the filmmaking team behind Where the Wild Things Are. The event takes place Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. at the SoHo Apple Store. It should be magical!
Obviously, we’ll be discussing the movie and how Jonze and his team adapted Maurice Sendak’s beloved children’s book. We’ll also be taking questions from the crowd.
The interview will be recorded and posted online for those of you who can’t make it. If you have a question you’d like me to ask Jonze or his crew, suggest it via the comments, e-mail (popcandy@usatoday.com) or Twitter.
The event is free and no tickets are required, though I’d suggest you arrive early. If you do come, please say hello afterward — I’d love to meet you!
