The cast of the AMC hit show The Walking Dead, including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, David Morrissey, Chad Coleman, Scott Wilson, Executive Producer and Showrunner Scott Gimple, Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd, Executive Producer Robert Kirkman, Executive Producer David Alpert and Executive Producer and Special Effects Make-up Supervisor Greg Nicotero spoke at SDCC 2013, and Convention Scene’s own Richard Oh was there.

AMC Reveals The Walking Dead Cast Members Participating at SDCC 2013

Via AMC: 

The cast and producers of AMC’s The Walking Dead will participate in an hour-long panel at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, CA. Moderated by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, The Walking Dead panelists will discuss what fans can expect in the highly anticipated fourth season, which debuts in October.

The Walking Dead panelists include Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, David Morrissey, Chad Coleman, Scott Wilson, Executive Producer and Showrunner Scott Gimple, Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd, Executive Producer Robert Kirkman, Executive Producer David Alpert and Executive Producer and Special Effects Make-up Supervisor Greg Nicotero.

In addition, fans this year are invited to participate in the second annual The Walking Dead Escape, a zombie obstacle course at Petco Park during Comic-Con weekend. The course is open Jul. 19 & 20 from 5PM to 10PM PT and allows survivors to climb, crawl and slide as part of the adventure and to also avoid confrontation by hordes of walkers.

NEW YORK, NY – September 24, 2010 – During New York Comic Con, AMC will premiere the first full scenes from the network’s highly anticipated series, “The Walking Dead.” In addition to the exclusive preview, the stars and producers of the drama, based on the comic book written by Robert Kirkman, will be present for a panel scheduled for Sunday, October 10 at 2:15pm in the IGN Theater. The event will include series stars Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually), Jon Bernthal (“The Pacific”), Sarah Wayne Callies (“Prison Break”), Laurie Holden (The Mist), and Steven Yeun (“The Big Bang Theory”). Joining the cast are writer, director, executive producer and three-time Academy Award nominee Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) and executive producers, Robert Kirkman and Gale Anne Hurd (The Terminator, Aliens, Armageddon). “The Walking Dead” will premiere on Halloween at 10pm EST on AMC.

During the 90-minute event, moderator Eric Moro of IGN.com will lead panelists in a discussion about their experience shooting the “The Walking Dead,” and the process of bringing Kirkman’s comic book to life on the small screen, among other topics. The panel will be followed by a Q&A session with attendees.

1. Do I need a special ticket? You do not need a ticket but the theater fills up for all events so get there early to make sure you get a seat.
2. Do you clear the room between events? We do not. So if media and movie programming is your thing, you can camp out all day!
3. Can I bring my camera? There is NO video or photography of any knd of the footage being presented.
4. How do I get to the IGN Theater? Head down the escalators to level one and look for signs that say IGN Theater or Special Events Hall.
