Lance Henriksen signs at Amoeba Music on Tuesday January 8th at 7:00pm. Henriksen will sign copies of books 1 & 2 of the new comic book  To Hell You Ride.

To Hell You Ride is a new horror series written by Lance Henriksen (Millennium, Aliens, Near Dark) and Joseph Maddrey (Nightmares in Red, White and Blue: The Evolution of the American Horror Film), with art by Tom Mandrake.

Book 1 will be available for purchase starting 12/27 and Book 2 will be available for purchase January 8th (day of event).

To attend signing, books must be purchased at Amoeba – retain receipt for admittance.

- Ticketholders may get their comic book(s) and ONE additional item signed at this event – Amoeba will have a photograher to take pictures with Lance (no personal camera or phone pics at signing table to keep the line moving smoothly)

Lance-HenriksenWEB-Lance Henriksen is best known to the film and television audiences for his roles in science fiction and horror motion pictures such as the Alien franchise (Aliens, Alien 3 and Alien vs. Predator), Near Dark, The Terminator and The Quick and The Dead, as well at the highly acclaimed television show, Millennium and recently on Nickelodeon’s Legend of Korra.  He is vastly sought after as actor and voice over artist and continues to work prominently in television and feature films.

To Hell You Ride: White Man’s Guilt tells the story of a ritual from the past that presents itself in modern day. The story begins in Colorado in the winter of 1881 where a violent ceremony has been unleashed.  The tale flashes to present day with the advent of Two-Dogs, a drifting Native American about to embark on his greatest life or death challenge.

Emerald Knights Comics hosts a charity event for the Shriner’s Hospital Los Angeles on Saturday June 9th from 12-7PM. It will be a day of games, signings, photo opportunities and a custom RPG by writer Keith Baker. Over 40 Cosplayers and members of the 501st Legion will be on hand for photos.

Things From Another World (TFAW) is proud to announce a month-long Patric Reynolds: Black & White Gallery Exhibition, debuting during the new Portland TFAW’s Grand Opening Party June 2 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Guests will be treated to an up-close look at 15 of Reynold’s favorite pieces, which will be displayed throughout the month of June. Complimentary food and beer (for those 21+ with ID) will be provided.

Patric Reynolds is one of the most exciting up-and-coming artist in comics. His raw, dramatic style will be featured in Dark Horse Comics’ upcoming Falling Skies Season 2 prequel, written by Paul Tobin and based on the popular TNT television show. Reynolds is also well-known for his work on Let Me In, Serenity: Float Out, and Abe Sapien.

“The most exciting thing about our new Portland store is that it offers us a lot of opportunities to expand into new areas, like gallery shows,” said TFAW Senior Director of Retail Operations Andrew McIntire. “Patric’s art will be the perfect addition to our epic Grand Opening party, and we’re proud to display it all month long.”

Reynolds’ gallery pieces will include pages from Let Me In, Serenity: Float Out, Falling Skies, and Aliens: Colonial Marines, among others, as well as several character sketches.
