Steve Scott Heads Off for Adventure!– AdventureCon that is!
Tenn– You won’t find a more beautiful spot for a convention than Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, so why wouldn’t you want to head there this weekend and join the Adventure– AdventureCon that is! X-Men and Indiana Jones artist Steve Scott sure is!
Known for his work on “Razor” for London Knights, Indiana Jones for Dark Horse, X-Men for Marvel and most recently a Green Lantern special project for DC Comics, one of Steve’s favorite venues is AdventureCon.
“I always look forward to coming back to this show that has an awesome legion of fans, and hospitable promoters,” says Steve. “In an unbelievable location.”
In his illustration career, Steve has had the pleasure of penciling numerous titles including: “New Warriors,” “Hourman,” and “JLA” just to name a few. In addition, he is the only artist tapped by DC to do any work for the “Batman Dark Knight” movie featuring the now legendary Joker turn by Hearth Ledger. Steve’s work and rendition of this actor as the Joker can be found in the exclusive blue-ray package of the hit movie!
Other projects at Marvel Comics, and DC Comics include working with industry legends Louise Simonson and Chris Claremont on the titles “Magik” and “Exiles.” As well as titles in the successful Marvel Adventures line including: Fantastic Four, Avengers, and the Hulk. In addition to this ever growing list of published comics, cards, and other related illustrations, Steve also penciled “Kyle XY” for Disney/ABC with writer Jeff Parker.
If you are a fan of the television show, “Smallville,” you no doubt have also seen Steve’s flash animation work used in that shows production, as well. Steve is currently working on a new flash animation project to be announced soon!
It’s no wonder that Steve has the distinction of having his work owned by numerous collectors worldwide, including director George Lucas himself!
Scott will be at the convention all three days of the show available for signing and sketching, as well as offering several exclusive prints! So come on by.

Knoxville–AdventureCon marks the “X” on the map for intrepid treasure seekers this weekend as artists Michael Golden and Steve Scott add some gems to the hunt with two special prints produced just for the convention.
Tennessee’s largest pop culture and collector show, AdventureCon is offering these two 5.5x 8.5 prints exclusively for attendees, and for FREE during a special signing with Golden and Scott!
Michael Golden is pretty much a household name if you know comics and sequential art, with past work on “The ‘Nam,” “Bucky O’Hare” and “The Micronauts” still garnering accolades, while recent work on “X-Men” and Hulk at Marvel continue to draw notice! His recent artbook, “Excess: The Art of Michael Golden,” from Vanguard Productions also sold out this year, going into a second printing! Golden is also the focus of a new DVD from Woodcrest Productions/Eva Ink entitled “Creator Chronicles: Michael Golden,” featuring over six hours of material on the creator responsible for Co-creating Rogue, Bucky O’Hare and Spartan X. Look for his work on the G.I. Joe redux coming soon as well, just in time for the movie!
Steve Scott is known to his fans for his popular work on “Razor,” “Indiana Jones,” and “JLA,” and has the distinction of being the only artist tapped to do any work related to “Batman Dark Knight.” Steve’s comic work appears in the DVD of the movie currently in release.
