John E. Crowther first entered the comic book world as a creator and writer in June 2014. After an initial publication of Rochelle: The Teen Cockroach #0 with AC Comics in March 2015, signed with Antarctic Press, where Rochelle has appeared since July 2016. John is also currently writing biographical wrestling comics for Squared Circle Comics, an imprint of Inverse Press.

Disney Artist Katie Cook appears at WonderGround Gallery on Saturday, March 31st from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Several pieces of Katie’s work will be on display and available for purchase.

Katie Cook is a comic artist and writer that hails from the mitten state (as is Michigan, not that she is in the state of being a mitten). She is the creator of the comic Gronk: A Monster’s Story as well as working on IDW’s smash-hit My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She has also done work for Marvel, DC, Disney, LucasFilm, Fraggle Rock, and many other companies. She also wrote some books about mean cats that people seem to like.

Artist Cully Hamner appears at Yancy Street Comics in Port Richey on Saturday, April 21st from noon till 5PM and in Tampa on Sunday, April 22nd from noon till 5PM to sign all three issues of BATMAN AND THE SIGNAL from DC Comics!

Cully Hamner is an American comic book artist and writer, known for his work on such books as Green Lantern: Mosaic, Blue Beetle, Black Lightning: Year One, Detective Comics, and The Question. He is also the illustrator of the 2003 graphic novel Red, which was adapted into a 2010 feature film of the same name.

ORLANDO, FL – Spooky Empire, founder of one of the most coveted and recognizable thriller conventions in the nation, is gearing up for an exciting mid-season convention on April 6 – 8, 2018 with new additions to their lineup of celebrity guests. Spooky Empire fans await a thrilling weekend at The Wyndham Orlando Resort with special guests from one of the most successful American film comedies of all time, Animal House, including Tim MathesonMark MetcalfPaul Riegert, and Martha Smith.

Additional guests expected at the mid-season convention include:

Matthew Lillard, the actor and voice of the iconic character of SHAGGY in the Scooby Doo movies and also known for his roles in Scream, Serial Mom, Thir13en Ghosts, Hackers, SLC Punk!, Wicker Park, Without a Paddle, She’s All That

The one and only Vinnie Vincent joins Spooky Empire for a very rare appearance. Vinnie Vincent is best known as a former member of one of the greatest bands of all time, KISS. Vinnie performed on the albums “Lick It Up” and “Creatures of the Night” as well as wrote songs on “Revenge”

Kids 10 and under are free.
